Chapter 25 - Report on SCP-699 in the SCP Foundation - Final Part

"This article… why hasn't it been finished? Where is the author?"

SCP-699 was an SCP entity written by an author on the forum. However, it remained incomplete. I created a simple account on the website, which allowed me access to all its features, including the forum.

I joined a "Tier-2" discussion to ask about the author, hoping for some information. But no one responded.

"Do I not have a voice? Or maybe the author just isn't that popular?"

I couldn't blame anyone. But from that moment, I knew I wanted to accomplish something on this site. Of course, there was only one thing I cared about: finishing the article on SCP-699.

"It might be a little far-fetched."

No, deep down, I believed I could do it. So, I decided to come up with an idea. Then, I wrote it down, and I would join as an anonymous author. Finally, I combined some of the original information and crafted my own story about this SCP.

"At last, it's done. SCP-699."

It was now 2:12 AM. I was exhausted but felt a wave of relief wash over me as I stretched my sore muscles.

In the end, the task was completed. Whether the original author would intervene, I didn't know.

But if "that person" ever tried to get involved, I'd do my best to convince them to keep the work I had poured my efforts into.

"Time to sleep."
