Damon: Who's the father
Damon stood up, his face a mask of pain as he looked down at Sofia, his voice cold and bitter.
Sofia stared up at him, her heart racing with panic and confusion.
Sofia: Damon, I have no idea what you're talking about. What father? What are you talking about?
Damon shook his head, his expression a mix of hurt and anger. He turns a paper that happened to be a test results
Damon: You are 4 weeks pregnant sofia. Who is the father
Damon, his face contorted with pain and betrayal, waves the pregnancy test in Sofia's face.
Sofia: Pregnant? I don't understand. That's not possible.
Damon: It is possible, Sofia. It's right here. You're pregnant. And you're not telling me who the father is.
Sofia's mind is racing, trying to make sense of what she's seeing. She's sure that this can't be true, but the test is right in front of her. She turns her gaze back to Damon, her voice trembling.
Sofia: I...I don't know what to say. I've never been pregnant.
Damon: But you're pregnant now, Sofia. Are you hiding something?
The room is filled with tension, the air thick with suspicion and hurt.
Damon gave a bitter laugh as he put together the puzzle
Damon: Is it Sebastian?
Sofia: Damon wait I can explain
Damon: You have been fooling around with him. Is that the reason you rejected me because you love him? After all, I told you
Damon's voice is filled with anguish and betrayal, his words cutting through the silence like a knife. Sofia's heart pounds in her chest, her mind racing as she tries to find the right words to explain.
Sofia's eyes widen, her shock turning to indignation. She tries to sit up, but her body is still weak from the illness.
Sofia: Damon am sorry I tried to stay away from him but he kept coming and I fell in love
The words hit Damon like a blow to the gut. He staggers back, his face a mask of shock and pain.
Damon: You...you fell in love with him?
Sofia: No, Damon, please. You have to believe me. It's not what you think. I never meant to hurt you.
Damon: But you did, Sofia. You hurt me. You betrayed me. You lied to me.
His voice cracks as he struggles to contain his anger
Damon's voice is a low growl, his eyes piercing into Sofia's as he demands an answer.
Damon: How long, Sofia? How long has this been going on?
Sofia: I...I don't know. Six months, It just happened, Damon.
Damon: Just happened? Is that what you call it? just happened
Sofia: Damon, please. I was confused. I didn't mean for any of this to happen.
Damon: Confused? You know what I am now?
Damon's anger is reaching a fever pitch, his voice becoming increasingly sharp and agitated.
Damon: You know what I am now, Sofia? I'm a fool. I'm a damn fool for thinking you might love me.
Sofia: No, Damon, please. Don't say that. I care about you. I really do.
Damon: Oh, you care about me? Well, that's great. But it doesn't change the fact that you chose him over me.
His words are filled with bitterness, his heart breaking with each syllable.
Sofia: What was I supposed to do, I wouldn't control my feelings and after our first meeting and finding out his my business partner, everything was out of control. I found myself wanting to see him every day. I tried Damon and I couldn't bring myself to tell you, I wasn't ready to face the whole drama
Sofia's confession hangs heavy in the air, her words heavy with emotion and regret. Damon's expression is one of mixed pain and disbelief.
Damon: So, what? You were just going to keep it from me? Keep it from me until when? Until you decided to tell me that you were pregnant with his child?
Sofia: No, Damon, I have know idea I was pregnant, that's not what I was going to do. I just...I just didn't know how to tell you.
Damon: You didn't know how to tell me that you were in love with someone else?
Sofia: You would not have accepted it, you told me to stay away from him for crying out loud
Sofia's words are a desperate attempt to justify her actions, but Damon is not buying it.
Damon: So, what? You were just going to keep lying to me? Keep pretending that everything was fine?
Sofia: No, I...I was going to tell you, I swear.
Damon: When, Sofia? When were you going to tell me?
Sofia: I don't know, Damon. I just...I was so confused.
Damon's face was a mask of stoicism as he processed Sofia's words, his expression unreadable. He stood in silence for a long moment, the tension in the room thick and suffocating.
Finally, he spoke, his voice low and emotionless.
Damon: Congratulations. You got what you wanted and you are carrying his child
Without another word, he turned and left the room, the door closing with a soft click behind him.
Outside the hospital room, Damon leaned against the wall, his hand coming up to rub his forehead in frustration. He closed his eyes, his mind spinning with thoughts of Sofia and the betrayal he'd just experienced.
Damon: How could she do this to me? ( he muttered to himself ). How could she choose him over me?
As he stood in the silent hallway, he felt a wave of pain and anger wash over him, the sense of loss and rejection overwhelming.
Sofia's hands trembled as she picked up the test report, her mind racing as she tried to make sense of what was happening.
She scanned the report, her eyes widening as she absorbed the information. The words on the page seemed to dance before her, their meaning becoming clear as the full weight of her situation sank in.
Pregnant. 4 weeks. Positive.
She sank back against the hospital bed, her mind reeling. She'd never been pregnant before.
Sofia: This can't happen now…..Not now
Sofia's mind was a whirlwind of emotions, her thoughts racing as she tried to make sense of this unexpected turn of events.
Sofia: This can't happen now, ( she repeated, her voice a low whisper of disbelief ). Not now. Not like this. I took the pills how is this possible
Driven by a mix of fear and determination, Sofia made the decision to leave the hospital. She signed the discharge papers, ignoring the protests of the nurses, and left the hospital.
She made her way home, her footsteps echoing through the empty streets. Her mind was a whirlwind of thoughts and emotions, the weight of her situation pressing down on her like a physical burden.
When she arrived at her apartment, she slipped inside, closing the door behind her. She leaned against the cool wood, her eyes closing as she took a deep breath, trying to steady herself.
Sofia's hand trembled as she pulled her phone from her pocket, her fingers fumbling to dial Sebastian's number. The phone rang and rang, but he didn't pick up.
Sofia: Sebastian, please ( she whispered, her voice a desperate plea ). Please, pick up.
But the line continued to ring, the sound echoing through the empty apartment like a mocking reminder of her solitude.
Sofia hung up, her mind racing.
She tried again, but the result was the same. Voicemail.
Sofia's heart leapt as Sebastian finally answered the phone, only to sink again when he spoke the four words she didn't want to hear.
Sebastian: I'll call you back ( he said, his voice terse and dismissive, before hanging up ).
Sofia stared at the phone, a chill running through her body.
She sank down onto the sofa, her body feeling heavy and tired. Waiting for him to call back
Hours passed, and still no call from Sebastian. Sofia's worry turned to fear, her mind conjuring up all sorts of terrible possibilities.
Unable to sit still any longer, she grabbed her keys and headed for the office. Maybe he was there, she told herself. Maybe he was just busy.
But when she arrived at the office, there was no sign of Sebastian. His desk was empty, his computer turned off. It was as if he had vanished into thin air.
Sofia sank into a chair, her mind reeling.
Sofia: What was happening? Where was Sebastian? Is he in some kind of trouble
That is when she realized she didn't know any of his friends or have their number
Without a moment's hesitation, Sofia got back into her car and drove to Sebastian's house. She pulled into the driveway, her heart pounding in her chest. She climbed out of the car and walked up to the front door, her hand hovering over the bell for a moment before she rang it.
She waited, her breath shallow and quick, her mind a flurry of thoughts.
Just as Sofia was about to give up, she heard the sound of footsteps approaching the door. The butler, a tall, grey-haired man, appeared in the doorway, his expression neutral and professional.
Butler: Hello, Miss Sofia, ( he said, inclining his head in a polite greeting ). May I help you?
Sofia straightened up, her expression turning urgent.
Sofia: Is Sebastian here? ( she asked, her voice tinged with desperation ). I need to speak with him.
The butler gave a small shake of his head
Butler: Yes but his busy at the moment
Sofia: I can't wait any longer its urgent
She brushed past him
Sofia: Where is him ( she asked )
Butler: In his study
Being familiar with the house she went ahead. When she got to the door of the study she pushed it open and walked in, Sebastian was sitting facing the door while a lady with her back turned to Sofia. Sebastian stood up and walked to sofia
Sebastian: What are you doing here
Sofia: You said you would call me back and didn't
The lady stood up and walked to where Sofia was reaching out her hand for a shake
Kim: You must be sofia ( she smiled )
She looked at Sebastian back to the lady
Sofia: Sorry who are you
Kim: My apologies let me introduce myself, My name is Kim Kalls, Sebastian's Fiance
