Kaiza was amazed to see the four men drop to the ground in a split second. "What the hell just happened?" he thought, scanning the room to see M. Boss, who was standing at the far end earlier. When he realized the man had disappeared into thin air a thought crossed his mind.
"He is Alien!"
Kaiza's gaze shifted to Keaton seeing his vulnerable state. He too wasn't sure what just happened, the man was as confused as Kaiza about what just happened. Kaiza then saw a dagger moved to Keaton, he wasn't sure what the dagger was going to do or where it was coming from. He traced its source and saw the man at the far end up on the corridor he was at earlier. His hand controls the dagger as it stands against Keaton's neck.
Kaiza initially thought the dagger being controlled by M. Boss was going to kill the man but that thought was crossed out in his mind as he watched. The man didn't drop dead like the four guards; rather he stood firm, frozen like he was frostbitten and his head jerked back. Then he knew the dagger was held against the man's neck.
Kaiza hadn't seen something like this and was intrigued and interested that he was lost in the scene as he watched the man up there descend to the man in the middle of the room. He stood behind the man for a while and Kaiza began to hear their distinct chat. It wasn't clear to his ears but he knew they were talking about him and everything. Kaiza then came back to his senses, if this man finally killed Keaton he would be after him. Then he remembered his uncle and the taxi driver was waiting for him.
It was then he realized the danger he would put his innocent uncle, taxi driver and his innocent self into. The guy was about to dash off when he heard M. Boss voice call Keaton again and he halted to hear what was going to happen next. Then he heard the man telling him to inject him with this. He peeked and saw the weapon handed over to Keaton. That moment he dashed off to the car.
He got to the car, the taxi driver had already left with his uncle. Just that moment a message came in from his uncle telling him to find a taxi and join him at the airline. Kaiza was happy with the choice his uncle made partially, on the other hand he wasn't. The fault relies mostly on him for staying too long and that might have gotten the taxi driver angry. Leaving his uncle no choice then to go with him. But that's wasn't a sure wise decision for his uncle to leave him without checking up on him. He knew how dangerous this people were and why would he just abandon his nephew just like that.
That made Kaiza sad. He began to walk down the cold street heading to the nearest bus stop he could find or perhaps a taxi.
As he journeyed down this cold path. His mind couldn't but wander back to the mysterious happening in the hall before he left. How could a human drop four armed men in a split second and make it to the second floor that very moment. That wasn't human or could he be . . ?
Kaiza battled his mind as he thought about every possibilities. He thought if this man was alien then his father would have talked about him and somehow reported him to the police. But what if he threatened his father? Kaiza was left with unanswered question as he thought about this. And besides, he concluded he was just a human who had learned the ability books aliens had provided humans with to fight against the Dowolf beast when they arrived the second time. That made him excited when he remembered he would be attending military school and learn some of this abilities soon. He could have learnt it earlier but the military wiped out all abilities book and brought it into the walls of the military school. No ability books were allowed outside the military school, though there are some exceptions.
Those who had abilities were those who had gone to military school or children of millionaires. Despite the strict rules there were still lick holes. The military sold abilities books to first class citizens to train their children with. So children of the first class citizens had access to personal books and also that of the military men's sons and daughters.
Aliens weren't so common like the first war. After they provided humans with the ability books and were about creating systems for those who had learned the abilities books. War broke out between aliens and humans. It was an unexpected attack and a lot of aliens were killed by humans who had mastered their books and used it against them. Aliens were wiped out off the surface of earth except those that escaped.
Rumor has it that there were some aliens who had the abilities to manipulate their own blood to red so they wouldn't be caught. That proves the point of the man that fell on the wheel screen earlier.
Kaiza also thought about the briefcase and wondered what was inside that made all those men want to have it in their possession. He decided to take a look in but he heard hurried footsteps behind him. As he noticed this he took slow steps to confirm this if it wasn't just his mind running wild. He heard the steps but slowly this time. It was as if the person saw his slow movement and decided to move at a slow pace. Kaiza took a look over his shoulders but he couldn't find anything. He was alone on the silent road. He continued pacing a little faster than before, just then he senses movement behind him and echoed footsteps. Then he turned at once he saw a manly figure moved into the dark but his silhouette was still much visible enough to Kaiza sight.
Kaiza pretended like he had seen nothing, then he checked his order for a ride to know how far it was to him. As he did this, he continued strolling down the street with a split mind. He was vigilant, moving cautiously than before. His other part of his mind was focused on his phone as he checked his order.
After checking this Kaiza was a little happy because the tracker stated his ride was close to where he was. All he had to do was continue walking like he had no idea of the presence of his stalker.
After a few seconds the car parked in front of him. He quickly grabbed the door to open it then he heard a voice from behind him.
"Kaiza" he knew the voice, it sounded much familiar. He turned, staring at Keaton standing casually against a street light staring at him.
Kaiza knew this wasn't the same man who wanted to help him earlier. This man was here to get rid of him and take the briefcase from him. With a dubious and frightened mind Kaiza remained silent waiting to see what he would do next
"I am not here to hurt you, all I want is the briefcase. Hand it over and leave. No one gets hurt"
Kaiza salivated, staring at the man with no idea what to do. Should he run or just hand over the bag? But he remembered his father's warning telling him to guide the bag with his life. And this man also said it. If they could say that, that means this must not get into the hands of M. Boss.
And obviously,Keaton was sent by M. Boss to get this or else he would die. Kaiza plotted an escape plan in this short while of staring at the man without an answer. If this man had no power sure as M. boss and neither is he an Alien. And he knows surely he has not learned any abilities. He knew this because his father had told him about this man. The technologists relied on their invented guns to protect themselves from the looming war, not some ability books they have to learn for over six months. All they had to do was learn martial art and alongside their inventories fight and survive.
Since he knew this, he planned to jump into this taxi and tell the taxi driver to drive off. The distance between him and Keaton was enough for this plan to work out.
As he had planned, he did and the driver drove off. "Kaiza!" Keaton yelled seeing the boy outsmart him. But he muttered something to himself before taking his next action. "If that's how you want it. Then you get it"
