Thirty minutes later, the shadow pit was filled with far more people than expected—almost as if the entire army had shown up. The place was lively and boisterous as people commented on who would win. Below was a huge black cage placed at the center, forming a ring for the fighters.
Ethan walked in, and cheers erupted, almost deafening.
"Woah," Ethan said, covering his ears as he walked into the shadow pit, fist-bumping a few who approached him.
"So many people," Henry said, walking behind Ethan.
"Yes, it's public humiliation for stupid Ghain before everyone," Klaus said as they walked in, the crowd cheering them on.
Cain entered the ring, flaunting his muscles to the crowd.
Soon, the curly-haired guy arrived and was surprised at the size of the crowd Hazen had managed to pull. He slipped into a seat in the front row.
"Everything should be clearer from here," he muttered, looking around for Hazen or Ghain.
