The letter sent by Madam Nora finally arrived in Mortia three days later. Queen Rhianna was in the garden, a rose in her fingers as she played with the beautiful butterflies hovering over the flowers.
"I need more flowers here," she murmured under her breath, raising her hands to chant a multiplying spell to increase the flowers in her garden.
"Queen Rhianna," Garmon called from behind, distracting her from casting the spell.
"What?!" Rhianna snapped, her tone sharp. She hated distractions, especially when tending to her flowers.
"I'm very sorry, my Queen," Garmon said apologetically, realizing she had been in the middle of something.
"What is it? Why did you call me?" Queen Rhianna asked as she placed the rose behind her ear and walked to a nearby chair. Sitting down, she crossed her legs, she picked up a liquor, sipping it lightly with her eyes narrowing as she waited for Garmon to speak.
