Chat box;
"Is that the freaking snake again"
_"muahahaha!"
"Who's this?"
_"your worst nightmare"
"Beat it you fool!!"
_" --"
The chat box exploded with comments of players picking on each other with no one backing down.
Just then,a whole colony of gigantic ants with electrifying antennae and transparent feets marched towards the place which the sound was heard.
"Cooolll!" Blaze thought as he stared at the e-ants marching back and forth carrying who knows what and marching back to their colony which, surprisingly was a whole landscape enough to build an entire city.
The most intriguing part was a fact that the ants could change the color of their antennae depending on their mood, they typically lived in a colony where techs roamed rampant and last but not least, the futuristic e-ant colony wasn't built underground underground.
The blue dot trail lead them through the colony of the e-ants and Blaze was fascinated by how much time, efforts, money and resources the developers wasted on it.
Wasted…it couldn't even be called wasted because it was lavishly made.
The graphic designs were top notch, the display although it doesn't look real, looks very detailed.
In the e-ants' e-colony, the larvaes were typically hovering above the ground as they were being transported through the colony by the nursing e-ants.
The larvaes had blue liquid coursing through it, which seems to be beating like a pulse.
Further down, they could see a vast space where the foragers e-ants leaves their gatherings.
It was as though they were invisible to the e-ants, because they all went about their assigned roles without even sparing them a glance.
Further down into the colony, they halted as massive e-ants crossed the lane which they were on.
These ants, unlike the rest, were with sharp and gigantic mandibles and thorny femur(s) and tibia(s).
They seemed as though they were on a roll.
Players were intrigued by this place and wanted to explore but they couldn't leave the lane as they were prevented from doing so by a transparent barrier.
So they stayed put to avoid any misfortune while they held up their guard by activating their weapons in case of any misconceived action.
Further down into the colony, lesser worker ants could be seen, there were a lot of those giant mandible e-ants could be seen.
Blaze presumed them to be army ants.
They were probably looking out for any threat.
That meant they were protecting their queen.
Blaze became excited to see the e-ant queen who managed to put together such a large colony.
But it seems Not your concern has other plans…
Unfortunately, they didn't see the queen, instead, they arrived at an open space where the blue dot trail ends.
They stopped and looked around but nothing was found.
Just then, a new notification pops up…
"Congratulations one and all survivors, this is to inform you of 2 things. 1-the final substage has been cancelled due to a glitch in the system 2-welcome to the trial ground. Where we test your skills and experiences as a legendary e-gamer before you continue to stage 4.
PS welcome to Antopia (y'all should go extreme, don't hold back).
Chat box;
"Bring it on!"
"Hmmm"
"That prize money is mine"
_"Are you a troll, bcus that's all u seem to say"
_" i don't give a shit".
**Ping**(Notice from Not your concern)…
"Players, pls note that this trial is all about you".
"yep, I couldn't care less" Blaze said "They never seem to say much any way".
Suddenly, a loading bar appears at the top of their screen.
***Loading PVP mode***
***...(galume)…successful***
Suddenly, the ground started shaking and was slowly lifted into the air, many feet high above the ground.
After getting to a certain height, it stopped and began spinning very slowly.
"Dear loving players, this as stated is a trial that's all about you…Rules: free style battle against each other until only 5 players are left and don't forget, cheating is allowed!".
**Chat box locked**…
*Let the battle begin*
This, the battle of the century began.
Players that was left were only eight.
"Oh come on,come on, come on!!" Blaze said desperately as he tried to activate the stupid weapon by clicking on a combination of buttons.
"Why won't it just work!" He said almost angrily.
Meanwhile,Blake remained under Blaze's bed (which was now an addiction to his territory),typing away and putting up a sound barrier few inches around himself as his middle claw beeps a low frequency sound.
The them lift his middle claw on his left paw and when it met with the ground, a blue projection of a man with Black hair, right green eye and left blue pupil, dark skin complexion,in a white lab coat appeared on the ground.
"Hello doctor" Blake said.
"What's his neurological status?" the doctor asked with a futuristic device that looks like an iPad on his hand
"his brain is becoming more active and from my analysis,10% of his brain muscles has been activated" Blake replied and the doctor asks "how's phase 2 coming along"
"Phase 2 is currently 70% successful and is still imminent" Blake replied
"I need all his status reports from the past week transferred to base" The doctor said and Blake started to click on his still active holographic keyboard, sending the requested info to the real world HQ.
"Processing status report from the past week…report successfully transferred" Blake said.
"Affirm" said a random worker in the real world HQ.
"What's the current status of phase 2?" The doctor asked and Black replied saying "The current status of phase 2 is 70.2%".
"Slightly notable progress" the doctor said and instructed Blake to keep track of Blaze's brain activity for the time being and continue to process phase 2.
"*Downloading new mission*" Blake said and then closed the holographic interface after successfully downloading his new mission.
He deactivated the sound barrier and resumed his usual work on phase 2.
The battle was tough and Blaze was at a loss because he was the target of all the players.
His HP was reducing at a very fast pace as his character was incurring damages infused by other players.
He kept running around but he was already doomed to be eliminated.
Just when his HP was at its lowest, a dark crepuscular light surrounded his character.
He was shocked…
After some time, the dark light faded leaving him astonished...
