He did it…, he finally did it….
After a long long time of trying and failing, he finally did it.
He activated his useless weapon.
He stared at the weapon with a wide mouth.
The weapon was a sword, black with slightly protruding designs carved on it, it had an outer layer of black color from its handle to the edges and tip, blue inner layer that's bright and dazzling.
When he moves the sword, it leaves a mix of crepuscular light and blue trail which slowly dissipate in it awake.
To top it, his character had a change in costume.
From a regular attire to a full body armored suit, black with intricate pattern.
He was so thrilled that he forgot he was in a battle field.
He only got back to his senses when a player was sent flying off the platform.
He didn't know how to yield the weapon yet, afterall he'd just accidentally activated it.
He tried using the usual keys he used for fighting with bare hands and unsurprisingly, it didn't work.
"Now what…" he thought for a while and suddenly, it hits his like a pack of ice, cheating is allowed.
He had managed to activate the weapon, so, he could at least try going through the back door.
He opened the cheating book and tried to start with a common cheat but, it didn't even budge and another player was sent flying towards the edge of the platform but this time aiming for him.
He moved a bit and the player landed on his feet using his double sided axe to break the inertia.
He noticed that the player whom they'd tried to eliminate was still alive.
He raised his weapon swinging for him.
He didn't know what to do because his weapon was indeed useless and now, the player who was sent flying towards him was now aiming for him.
He was typically the most vulnerable player in this game.
Just then, he somehow clicked on a random key of cheating and with a swift motion, he appeared behind the opposing player and kicked him, raising his weapon, he tried slashing but it hung mid air.
"What the heck" he said, his excitement fading away rapidly.
He tried to bring his hands down but it wouldn't budge.
With no other option as the player who had now regained his posture was now heading for him again.
An inch away from his neck, a bulky character knocked the opposing player off the platform.
He was saved by luck….
At that moment, the stupid weapon was now able to move.
"Oh,so now you know how to move!!" Blaze said and wanted to run from that part of the battle arena because three players were thrown off the platform through that spot.
Suddenly, an alarm rang and a congratulation notification was issued to all players who survived.
"I don't know what to do with this useless thing of a weapon" Blaze said angrily as he read the notification which closes after he clicked anywhere on the screen.
Now, only 5 players were left and he was on the bottom rank.
"What if…?" Blaze thought "just what if…,no! no!!,it can ever happen again" he rebuked the thought of having to have a PVP match against the other players.
If they could survive, then he was no match for them.
Not that he couldn't fight them head on, he could but it was as though this legendary weapon of his was not fully developed by the developers of the game.
If he was to have a PVP match against the other 4 players, then it would be like a chicken going to war with an egg against an elephant holding a butcher's knife and he was the stupid chicken.
He prayed that such cases of battle wouldn't happen.
The spinning levitating platform slowly descended and fixed itself perfectly into the ground and the blue dot trail lead them further into the e-ants' colony.
He wasn't too intrigued by the displays anymore because his only chance at becoming a millionaire was slowly getting ready to take flight to a place which is not his bank.
He was internally devastated and he felt slightly shaken.
He continued the game while the chat box which was as lively as a market when they first began the game, to a single text per minute or so.
He didn't bother reading any of the chats because he knew that they were probably about the scenery that the e-ants' colony had to show.
They appeared on the other side of the e-colony at a very beautiful view of the sun from a high mountain cliff where the blue dot trail lead down.
He couldn't appreciate the views because his mind was perturbed.
Not even the scenery of the lush green ground with beautiful water falls gushing down the mountain, the beautiful and colorful birds soaring the sky or the fact that he was riding…on a giant bird could cheer him up.
"Wait,…giant bird!?" He said quite surprised as he rotates the view of his camera "when did I,no we get on a giant bird?!!…".
He was too distracted by his thoughts to eventually get eliminated and losing his one time shot of making a huge sum of money, that he didn't notice that there was a cut in the game and when it played, they were all on a bird.
They could neither move nor stand on the bird, all they could do is rotate the view of their cameras and seeing the view below and sideways.
When they got to a point, the giant bird suddenly dives down at a very swift speed heading for the ground.
Despite the fact that they were few inches away from the ground, the bird didn't slow down a bit. Rather, it increased the speed by folding its wings.
Thoughts like "we're going to crash…,we're all going to be eliminated at the same time, the entire game was a scam, they never meant to give us the prize money,did they?,I knew it was too good to be true..." was pervading his mind.
He really needed the money for his father's treatment, his mother and siblings' daily expenses and his own self care.
Although his mother works at a restaurant, the pay wasn't beneficial or enough for their daily living.
So, when he saw such a rewarding game, he decided to participate believing that he could win.
