Ryan's eyes slowly fluttered open, focusing on the room around him. He had been drifting in and out of sleep as his body was exhausted from the day's events. But the sound of someone laughing had jolted him awake.
As he sat up straight, he realized that Aria was still leaning against him, her head resting on his shoulder and she was fast asleep, her breathing was slow and steady. Ryan smiled to himself, feeling the comfort at the sight of her. He gently shifted his position, trying not to disturb Aria and he looked around the room.
Locate the source of the laughter. That's when he saw Samuel and Sarah, sitting on the floor and giggling together. They were sharing a bottle of water which would likely be from Aria's bag.
