Ryan lay on the bed, his thoughts still swirling like a vortex, each one tangling with the next. The turmoil within him was like a living and a breathing entity that refused to be silenced. He couldn't shake off that feeling of unease that had settled in the pit of his stomach.
He used one of his palm to wipe his face, the gesture was a tired attempt to clear his mind. His hand dragged down his cheek to his jaw. G
"Get a grip, Ryan," he muttered to himself still lying down, he let out a deep sigh, the sound filling the silence. His chest rose and fell with the effort.
His eyes drifted around the room, searching for a distraction. Anything to escape his troubling thoughts.
The dresser caught his eye and Ryan quickly sat up, his gaze focused on the dresser, where he had seen clothes earlier.
Ryan got up from the bed and he walked to the dresser with a lonely sigh, making the space feel even more isolated.
He pulled open the dresser door and before him lay the arranged clothes that was neatly folded and stacked with up properly.
He needed a bath, the sudden urge to wash away his troubles, to scrub off the emotional grime accumulating on his mind and body.
"Maybe it'll clear my head," Ryan thought, rummaging through the neatly folded clothes to find the one that could fit him.
Ryan pushed aside a black T-shirt, to find a better one, his fingers brushing against the soft fabrics when suddenly, a bloody eardrums breaking scream pierced the silent air.
"A AHHHHH!" The sound came from the sitting room, where Aria and Samuel were supposed to be sleeping. Ryan's guard skyrocketed and he quickly dropped the cloth in his hand and rushed out of the bedroom, his feet pounding the cover floor, sharply.
Ryan burst into the sitting room, his eyes scanning the space with a mix of concern and alarm.
Aria and Samuel sat on the couch, their bodies angled away from each other. The distance between them was so long even when the couch wasn't that big and the space between them seemed to grow wider with each passing moment.
Ryan could see that Samuel's face was twisted in pain, his nose a little swollen and bloody. He held it gingerly, as if it might shatter at the slightest touch. A faint trickle of blood seeped from his nostril, dripping onto his shirt.
Aria's eyes were wide and frozen, her injured leg stretched out before her and a faint tremble in her good hands betrayed her calm facade.
Ryan's gaze darted between them, confusion filling on his face. His eyes slightly narrowing at the scene "What happened?" Ryan asked concerned with the way Samuel was holding his nose and how they both were glaring at eachother.
Aria and Samuel's glaring eyes shifted onto Ryan, ready to give him an earful of answers. The tension in the room was high.
Flash back, just moments before, in the sitting room where Samuel and Aria had been sleeping together, their bodies got entwined and Samuel's hands had mistakenly drifted to Aria's breasts as she slept in her under shirt top, the soft fabric was the only little barrier between her delicate breast and the hand.
Aria's eyes slowly opened with a foggy mind due to sleep. She found herself nestled in someone's arms but it wasn't the warmth of the embrace that startled her.
It was the person's hand resting on her boob, her freaking breast.
Her mind was foggy as he eyes dropped to the offending hand, the touch was sending a jolt of unease through her body.
"Squish" The sound ranged in her mind as Samuel's fingers tightened around her breast.
Aria's body reacted quickly like a flash, her fist clenched, her arm cocked back, and before she knew it, she landed a hard punch to Samuel's sleeping face.
Aria's reaction was instant, the sound of flesh hitting flesh echoed through the room and samuel's eyes snapped open, his head jerking back with the force from Aria hard punch.
"A Ahhhh!" Samuel stumbled backward, his nose started bleeding and Aria's anger boiled over.
Present time
Aria and Samuel's argument had been brewing for what felt like an eternity, the tension between them was suffocating. Ryan could sense it the moment he asked what had happened.
"Your fucked-up girlfriend punched me!" Samuel exclaimed, wincing at his injured nose. His voice was filled with pain and accusation as blood trickled from his nostrils, staining his shirt.
Aria's face twisted in anger, her eyes blazing with a fire. "He pressed my freaking boobs!" she shouted, her words tumbling out in a rush. Her chest heaved with every breath and her body trembling with rage.
Ryan's eyes widened in shock and rage his gaze darting from Aria to Samuel.
"Start explaining," Ryan urged but Aria was the one who took a deep breath, her words spilling out in rush. "I fell asleep, and when I woke up, Samuel's hand was on my breast. I felt violated."
Samuel interjected defensive. "It was an accident! I was just sleeping!" Aria's anger boiled over, her words cutting him off. "You crossed boundaries!" she shouted, her voice echoing off the walls.
Samuel's face was set in a defensive mode, his hand leaving his wound nose. "I didn't know, I was sleeping!" he pleaded, his words tumbling out in a desperate attempt to salvage the situation.
Ryan's fists clenched, his anger simmering, threatening to boil over. He wanted to punch something and that something would be Samuel's bleeding nose. How could he be so reckless, so thoughtless even though he was asleep.
Ryan shook his head, he needed to think straight not jump into conclusions. "Apologize, Samuel and mean it."
Samuel's eyes dropped, his shoulders slumping in defeat, he doesn't even remember touching the breasts so it was a lose to him. "A I'm sorry," he whispered barely audible.
