He walked out of the house with his hands in his pocket. He lazily slung his backpack through his right hand until one hand of the bag was on his right shoulder, and his left hand in his pocket. He walked opposite the street and looked at the house he just came out of.
'Time for school, i guess?'. He thought inwardly as he walked to school slowly with a sigh , he checked the time on his wristwatch ;7:37. It was not the most expensive wristwatch but it was a nice assosory . Class started by ; 8:00 so he could get to school early if he took the bus.He could maybe have time to rest his head before the class started.
He checked the time again ; 7:42 . The bus took 10 minutes to reach school. Just as he was alighting the bus . A sweet yet pungent smeel wafted inyo his nostrils. He knew that smell very well, in fact you could say that he depended on that thing that gave off that smell.
He could tell that it was `a high level one , so he could have breakfast today and increase his time for a while. 'Looks like i'll be late again ''he muttered to no one in particular but himself . He let the bus station and followed the smell to the demonic spirit it came from.
He checked the time once more ...7:57. he was officially late again and he had not even found the spirit that was giving off that smell and he was very far off from the station. The smell was getting stronger as it lead him towards the forest near the city but he followed anyways.
''Where is it . . . . . , i can . . . . smell it , but i can't find it'' . He was considering giving up and heading back to school.
''Hey , Milo''. He saw a girl that attends the same school as him. He just gave a curt nod towards the girl before turning back and going to school.
Milo could see spirits . . . . ., all spirits , well mostly spirits turned demon to be really specific. He called them demonic spirits because they don't look like normal spirits to him . And not just seeing spirits , he could hear them , smell them and also kill them . And eat them too. No one else could see these spirits , there are many time he had killed some in front of some people but they don't seem to notice. They only see him acting weird and then trying to kill them. They saw him as a weirdo.
Today , he was dit hing maths class to hunt for a spiritto kill. He did the maths in his head and based on its rank , it's spiritual powers, and hisown experience. It would probably fetch him a few more weeks to his life ...if he could find it , that is .
The girl that said hey to him before jogged up to his side before continuing at a pace that suited Milo . "You're going to school right ". Milo gave no answer , he didn't evenlook at her and just continued walking. "Well ....let's go together". She said through the awkward moment and gave a soft smile . Milo turned his head towards her. His handsome face made her face red and her heart fluttered as he gave a very low "Sure "to her, then continued walking.
Her heart was still stunned for a few more moments before she got herself back.
In school, Milo was known for two things , mainly his looks , a face that would make a girls heart to shake and then his weirdness. He did weird things a lot . He had no friends and he was always seen alone . Almost all the girls in school had tried their luck on him, maybe to see if they could woo him him and brag to the whole school that they had won the heart of the most handsome guy in the school.
Milo and the girl entered class right as the math teacher was rounding up. Surprisingly , the girl was also in the same class as him and she was sitting immediately at his back. Milo never noticed until today , when she sat down behind him and rested her chin and on her hand . It was also now that he noticed that she had silver hair with a few locks of blue . She was also a weirdo , so she and Milo sat in awkward silence as the whole class watched both of them enter and sit down.
