as they left the building, it was evening at the time and the streets were empty. Alice found the boat they used to come to Brassfield and set sail for wisperford.
as they were sailing, arthur asked, "mom, have i become a monster?". the question was simple, but it impacted her a lot, she replied, "no, dear no,it wasn't your fault, you don't have to worry about it"
Alice sat by her crying son, wiping the blood from his hands and mouth. Alice said, "You know what Arthur, that man you killed, was none other than a murderer. He killed many people, and he deserved to be what he is now" said Alice as she gave Arthur a huge hug.
In about half an hour, they reached wisperford wharf, and took the tram home.
Alice knocked on the door. "coming!" Richard said. He opened the door and he cried and hugged Alice saying, "I missed you so much, where have you been?Does it take half a year to teach him how to hunt?"
"Richard, I'll tell you later. first i'll put arthur to sleep" replied alice and carried her sleeping son to his room and put him to sleep and went back to the living room, where she found richard with two cups of coffee.
Alice thanked him and drank the coffee and started to tell him about everything, about Marcus, about his murder, etc.
"I think he might come back, we need to be very careful about your and Arthur's future," said Richard as he heard the full story.
till the next july, both alice and arthur were trying to get over the trauma, given by marcus. As of June, Alice came up with an idea. She thought of giving Arthur the biggest birthday party he had ever seen.
She spoke about it to Richard and felix. Felix gave the idea that he would take Arthur to somewhere, where he would enjoy and forget the trauma. thinking that it is a great idea, they implemented it a week before arthur's birthday.
as they planned felix, one week before, came to alice's home with tickets to japan and told to alice, "alice, i've got two tickets to tokyo, japan, would you and richard like to go there?", for that alice replied, "no felix, we can't, he has a fashion show to design and i have my last therapy sessions this week. if you want you can ask arthur"
"Yes, that's a great idea, Arthur, are you ready to go?" asked Felix, to Arthur who was sitting on the sofa reading books.
"i,..., don't have no uncle," he replied. "It's ok Arthur, therapy isn't the only thing to get your mind off things," said alice. "Then, I am ready to go uncle," he said.
"Then, pack up, because the boats are about to leave for millford haven" said felix and helped pack things. In half an hour, they left for the port in Wispr Ford and Alice & Richard sended them off to england.
As they walked to their home, Alice told Richard everything about her powers. Richard was indeed surprised, but he kept it cool and offered not to use her powers for the decoration. alice, as she heard this, was moved and she mad up her mind to make arthur's birthday the best
The next day, both of them went to buy all the decorations needed and in the next three days, they decorated the whole house,and on the fifth day, they made Arthur's birthday cake.
In the case of Felix and Arthur, they went around Tokyo and some cities. They also watched the release of the new anime. They went around and bought some famous manga. On the fifth day, they bought some souvenirs for the family and took the flight back to England and boat back to wisperford.
Felix carried his sleeping nephew quietly and put him to sleep.
The next day, the family quietly entered Arthur's room with birthday caps and gifts and Alice had a tray with some pancakes, orange juice, scrambled eggs, a bowl of berries and a toast with jam and peanut butter.
"surprise!!!" everyone shouted. Arthur was startled and woke up. He was surprised and couldn't hold back his tears and cried. "Hay, why are you crying dear?" Asked Alice and gave a huge hug. Wiping the tears, he said, "after that incident, I was sad, now I am happy because there are people who love me too"
Everyone was moved, his eldest cousin said, "come to think of it, yes we do love you till the most, you are a dream to you mother you know and we have planned a long day for you arthur"
Everyone chuckled. Scarlet said, "for the first surprise, my dear, you have to get ready and eat your breakfast" ."Yes grandma" said Arthur and ate the lovely breakfast.
As he came back from breakfast, Scarlet was holding a little box. She gave it to him and he opened it and he found a pair of keys. "Thank you grandma" he hugged and said. "These are the keys to the cycle that I have purchased from Germany and from this year, you can enjoy riding around the island," said scarlet.
James came running in the room, and said, "What?!, you gave it already?" And he gave me a helmet and other safety gear. "Honey, I thought you kept it with the cycle". "Relax mom and dad, I am sure he's happy" said felix. "Come on arthur, wear the gear, your gift is ready somewhere in the city" said felix and took him outside.
Arthur was indeed surprised at the beautiful cycle stand outside. "Come on and follow me" Felix said, "yes uncle" he replied and started to ride.
He struggled first, but started riding smoothly. They rode a long way, and finally stopped at a mysterious shop. Arthur was visibly confused and asked, "what's this uncle?"."Well, it's a surprise. now you go inside" felix replied.
as they entered, the lights suddenly turned on and the people in the store shouted, "surprise sir!!!!". There, a large pile of books of all genera and all types lay there.
"wow!!" arthur exclaimed. "thanks uncle" he said. "You don't have to, but you're welcome," Felix replied. They rode back home, where Emily and her children Charlie and Charlotte waited with their gifts for arthur.
First, Emily gave him a special camera that can take photos with special effects and even print it. secondary charlie gave him a diary and lastly little charlotte gave him a painting that she painted. Arthur felt quite adorable for Charlotte and gave her a hug, thanking her.
He went inside and they all had their lunch prepared by Alice and richard. After that, they all played a game of life till evening. Before the game ended, Richard quietly went inside and as the game ended with Arthur coming first, "surprise!!!" Richard shouted and brought Arthur's birthday clothes.
The incredible design and the colour scheme of the dress amazed everyone, and Arthur was the most amazed of all. He took the dress and wore it. it looked marvellous in it. the family commented, with many words of praise and handsomeness.
quietly Alice and Emily went inside and brought the 2 tiered cake that they baked.
wow was the word out of all of them. Alice kept the cake on the table and gave the knife to arthur. even though it bought him the dreaded memories, but seeing the smiles, comforted him.
as he started to cut the cake, there was a knock at the door. Alice went and received it. It was none other than Max, an early friend of Alice, in her school days.
"Hi Alice, do you remember me? I am max. Rebecca told me that today was your son's birthday" he said.
"oh, yes, silly me, hi max, welcome in" said Alice and brought him inside. and they all sang happy birthday for him. The cake cutting went well and they had dinner and a long talk.
Later, Alice took Arthur to her room and sat on the bed. Alice talked for a bit and Arthur listened curiously. She took out a box from her bedside table.
"What is it mom?" he asked curiously. Alice took out a shoulder bag. and said some words, "the power of creation, be bestowed in this bag and be a guide for my son". The bag glowed and the inside turned into something like pitch black.
"wow!!" he said and took the bag. "This bag can give you anything when you need it, you just have to think of it," said alice. Arthur chuckled and wiped the tear. and fell asleep on her lap, Alice started to sing the lullaby that she used to sing to him. After a few minutes, Arthur woke up and went to have some water.
At that time, Max quietly came into Alice's room with a knife behind. "What, Max, do you want something?" asked Alice, "I am not the Max that you grew up with," he said.
"What are you talking about, you are some max," she said, "I am, but you're not," he said back. "What are you talking about?" a visibly confused Alice asked.
"I am working with demon extermination," he said.
"so, you knew about me, huh Max," she said. "I have no choice, Alice, but to kill you," he said.
before anything, he stabbed her with the ice knife. blood spilled and the ice melted in alice's body heat and she coughed up blood. "One down, two to go," he said and jumped out of the window while Alice trembled down, holding her stomach tightly to prevent blood. She couldn't regenerate due to the very low temperature and acid leakage.
Arthur entered the room, he cried and ran to Alice and hugged her crying calling for help. but Alice stopped him from doing so and hugged him tightly and said her last words about being good and having lots of friends in school and about that Marcus will not be a threat to him and mom will always be with him at all times.
as she had the last word, her heart stopped beating, her fangs grew back and her scarlet eyes faded back to her original blue eyes.
Arthur cried for a long time before he fell unconscious. Richard found both of them, one dead, one asleep.
He carried Arthur and put him to sleep and he cried all night holding her hands. The next day, Arthur didn't wake up. So Richard held a funeral. towards the end, he noticed that blood started to move inwards. He thought that she was healing, so he brought a glass casket and put her in it.............
