As Doctor Donald walked out of the room where Austin was, he quickly picked up his phone and called Billie.
"Hello Billie, where are you? I need you to come to the experimental chamber right now."
"Yes, sir, coming right away," Billie responded. He jolted from his bed as soon as he received the command from Doctor Donald and began to make his way to the experimental chamber.
As soon as he got there, he spotted Doctor Donald in the control room, collecting some data, trying to figure out what had happened last if the firewall was been breached truly. He wants to confirm what Captain Charles said.
"Doctor, it's late; I thought you would be sleeping by now. It's already night," Billie said, his voice stressed as he spoke.
"Yeah, I know," doctor Donald replied. "I am trying to confirm something from the data taken from the system. Captain Chalse told me that he received a hack alert on his phone; someone was trying to pass through the firewall to an important file. Now, what I am not sure of is whether the person got through or not. We have to figure this out before it is too late."
"Wow, sir, that's bad; how can I help?" Billie asked.
"I need you to check and go through all the cameras in this facility; maybe we could find a clue from there."
"Okay, sir, I am doing it right away," Billie replied, respectfully.
"And also what about that kid, um, George, I think?" Doctor Donald asked. "Is he helping you out as I required?"
"Yes, sir, he does. I can call him here if you want; maybe we could work this through together."
"No, never mind," Doctor Donald insisted. "Let the kid be; he has done so much today. But for now, do this yourself. I don't want anyone else to find out that a thing like this had happened. It will alert the suspect to be smarter and more tricky to avoid and clean up all its tracks."
"Okay, sir, I will start doing it right away," Billie replied.
Billie brought out the bincavital device from his jacket. "Hmm, from where should I start? Maybe I should start with the cameras from here first."
He then turned and looked at the camera, which was been placed on the upper side of the control room beside the door, at the left side of the entrance. He then tapped on the device screen, going through every footage, but found no footage of anybody spotted. There was no trace of anybody; the only person who came in and out was the old man who was previously inside, he was the only man who was appointed to do the job at the time.
But when Billie went deeper into the footage, he noticed that the man suddenly fell to the ground.
Hmmm what's this, Billie sighed, then said. Why did he feel all of a sudden that's weird, could he have been sick or what? Billie wondered in thoughts as he looked at the footage over and over again. But couldn't figure out why that happened, then after a few minutes the man woke up, stood up from the ground and held his neck, rubbing with pain.
"Hmmm, what could this be?" Billie wondered, surprise evident in his eyes as he gazed at the footage trying to look for a clue.
Billie's gaze shifted to Doctor Donald. But doctor Donald didn't notice but kept checking on the data to identify the hacked file.
"I think I have gotten a clue on what this is about," Billie murmured. "I need to check out the footage from outside, but specifically, I need to pinpoint the cameras to get the footage directly and individually from the cameras." Billie thought thoughtfully as he walked out of the control room to go check up on the other cameras.
"I think I should begin with the one facing the bathroom. Hmmmm, let me see what I got here," he said while accessing the cameras.
"Alright, here it goes, access granted. Let's see who this sneaky one is. The best way to do sneaky stuff here is by using the bathroom; this dude is not wise enough if he eventually does use the bathroom to run this," Billie murmured to himself as he went through the footage on the camera that was facing the bathroom. The only thing he could see was different workers getting in and out of the bathroom, he couldn't identify who the actual suspect was.
When he goes through the last footage, he saw George going into the bathroom; he decide not to focus on that, because George could be just like a random person that's wants to use the bathroom. but due to his suspicious on him before, he decides to make him the prime suspect. So he decides to get inside the bathroom and check on the footage there as well.
The bathroom also has cameras all around; Billie wondered how possible it was for the spy to do it from here. could he have used something else to run it? Even though he could use something artificial, it can't be possible because he might be caught when crafting it. Billie wondered aloud as he stared at the cameras around. He accesses them one by one by using the bincavital device. But he could not find any footage. George entirely clears out all his tracks, leaving no clue for them to go through or start from.
With no clue and no vital evidence that it was George, Billie decides to keep it short without letting Doctor Donald know.
"Hmm, what could he be up to this time? Could he have been looking for the files that contain how the neurocore system technology works? Or could he have been looking for a file that contained the exit to this underground building? Even though he does, I will surely follow him out of this tortured mess shit hole of a place. It's been so long since I last saw the sunlight.
We only use our phone devices to check time to know whether it is night or day and we can't even contact anybody from here to the outside. We can only use it for time checking," Billie sighed in a murmur, worried flush spread across his face as he brought down his head in complaints looking at the bincavital device.
"I know if I may make any move here now I will be entirely screwed. So I just have to work along till the day I die, haha. What can I do? I should just wait for when I will give up the ghost because this place is a place of no return. We are entirely deceived, given false promises and much more."
He let out a deep sigh as he walked out of the bathroom. Back to the control room where Doctor Donald was.
"Did you find any clue, Billie?" Doctor Donald inquired.
"No sir, no clue at all," Billie replied, trying to hide the suspicious he had of George being the suspect. If he eventually said it out to Doctor Donald, he might take quick action towards it, and by the way, he doesn't have enough proof to show that it was George who could be the spy.
"Oooh, okay, that's weird. I can't find any clue over here either," Doctor Donald said. "We just have to keep checking. And I have gone through all the files here, it seems to be fully okay without any firewall breached."
"Ahh! What a waste.."
"Maybe you should go back to what you have been doing, go back to your room, and rest. Tomorrow is going to be a stressful day for us; we have much to do. We have to improve and run more experiments with the supercell."
