Chapter 24 - The Think The Could Fool Me

As soon as Doctor Donald walked out of the room, Austin stood up, completely unaware that the outer part of the room was transparent, and anyone outside could see his movement.

"Austin, you don't have to walk much. Stay calm. Tomorrow is going to be a good opportunity to make a move in what I have been looking for. Now that I am awake, after years of being dormant, I can make myself useful now," Blinka said inside Austin's mind.

Austin couldn't understand what Blinka was saying; he had no memories; he was empty. He was just confused, searching for who he was and what had happened last. The only memories He had were the memories of him in the burning building, and it only flashed in his head once. So he was confused and lost.

"Maybe this is where I am going to start in knowing what happened to me last," Austin murmured to himself as he placed his hands on the glass wall, looking at his reflection on the wall.

"Hmmmmm, this is perfect. He is still fully conscious of himself and still craves to retrieve his memories, and somehow he knows that going out of there could be a start in achieving that," Doctor Donald said while rubbing his chin; then he adjusted his glasses and smiled, "means the milgani fluid memories erasing did not work. I am amazed; I think I should just watch and observe what will happen throughout the mission."

Doctor Donald exclaimed while fixing his gaze while staring at the transparent mirror, completely seeing Austin as he moved. He fixed a recorder at the side of his neck, so small that even the Neurocore couldn't notice it was there.

"Hmmmm, I think the Neurocore is fully in control and has become the host system. So, the host must likely follow his orders; at this stage, the host doesn't have any memories. Hahaha, they think they could fool me, they don't know I am completely aware of what's going on. Let's play this game and let's see who will win."

"HAAAAAHAAAAAHAAAAA! HAAAAA! This will be very interesting."

Doctor Donald laughed out loud, lending out an evil echoing of laughter in the chamber.

"Shiiiiiiit! Could he have to find out?" George said while using the small flying robot he used for the hacking operation. He was completely connected to it, and he could see everything that was going on in the chamber by flying the drone to a spot where it could not be spotted. He even increased the robot drone's ability; he enhanced what the drone can do by making it invisible; even a thermal energy dictator cannot sense it.

"Hmmmm, so what could he have been laughing about?" George said, wonders filled his mind as he stared at Doctor Donald while using the drone.

Tomorrow is the day they will finally embark on the mission. I am also completely blank about what the mission is all about. And also, this is a chance for me to exit this place.

The information I have gathered here must reach outside; it's very important. Let's wait and see how it will be tomorrow. I just hope this will go well.

George sat on his bed in the room while using the drug to spy on Doctor Donald and his conversation. Doctor Donald was somehow aware that the Milgani fluid was not taking effect; the Milgani fluid was supposed to bend the neurocore consciousness to their will. But because Doctor Donald was smart, he quickly came up with a plan that he did not make known to Captain Charles.

He is still interested in the knowledge of the neurocore, which he has not yet gained complete access to.

If I am correct, my self-experiment to make myself immortal is in progress; just a little step forward, and I will be fully done with it. Doctor Donald smiled while talking to himself inside his mind. His UpTo is a hidden project that will grant him ultimate powers similar to the Neurocore; he wants to create a system that he's going to be in full control over. He refers to that as "project copy."

So he has to fully keep an eye on Austin and the Neurocore himself. He was entirely aware of the hack. At the start, he was just trying to hack it to avoid suspicion from Captain Chalse.

He knew from the start that George was using his flying robot to get access to the control room and wake the Neurocore system up, making it come fully online before the completion of the injection of the Milani fluid to 100 percent. The goal was to prevent them from controlling the system, making the system conscious and fully aware of its actions.

**************

All this time, George was completely blank, completely clueless if something like this was happening.

Doctor Donald adjusted his glasses and gently walked out of the chamber.

The next morning, it was still the same because they couldn't see the sunlight or how the night looked from the chamber. So how the different night from the day was through their phones, which they can't use for some specific things.

Shinda was the first to come over to the chamber; when he came, he had already seen Doctor Donald. Checking on Austin, making sure that everything is fully functioning.

Billie also came over early as well making sure that he assisted Doctor Donald with everything he was doing. But George was not found.

"Billie, what about George? He's not here together with you; can you get him for me?" Doctor Donald asked.

"Sir, I already did. He is not in his room. When I was passing over to get into the chamber."

"Hmmmmm, strange, where could he be? Never mind, I'm already done with everything. Test subject one zero one is active and prepared for the mission."

Shinda was lying on a pool in the chamber while looking at Doctor Donald.

Immediately, he was done checking up on Austin and making sure that everything was in place; he looked at him and smiled.

"Now you look good," Doctor Donald said. "This dress looks good on you, did you like it?" He asked.

Doctor Donald decides to wear Austin a cowboy outfit, with a large traditional cap on his head.

"This outfit is one of the best in the whole of my collection; I want you to look good in it. But you have to promise me something, make sure you bring it in one piece." With a sigh, Doctor Donald tapped Austin on his shoulder and said.

Come with me. It's time for you to start going with the others.

Without hesitation, Austin stood up and began walking out of the caged room where he was truly out in; it was his first time walking out of the room. It looks like he's somehow still in control, a little from the previous fluid that was inside him.

"You have to snap out of it," Blinka said; immediately, he quickly noticed that some of the fluid that was inside Austin was somehow taking control.

"He can only grant Austin some unique powers, but not at their full potential, because he's still in blend with his host."

Austin suddenly heard the voice of Blinka, and then he quickly snapped out of it.

"Doctor, you are getting me tired over here; when will you be done with the robot?" Shinda shouted from a distance while standing beside a pool with his hands folded to each other.

Doctor Donald ignored his blabbing and decided to walk towards him with Austin at his back.
