Niko stood there shocked with hardly anything to say as the two stared at the dead bodies before them.
"Yeah...They're dead.." Niko says with fear in his voice.
I felt as if I couldn't move my legs but yet no one else seemed to be around.
"We should probably both get back home. This was a dumb idea." Mai responds before starting to run.
Mai and Niko began to run through the woods, back towards the direction of their homes. More screaming could be heard as they got closer and closer to home.
"I think it's an all out attack!" Mai shouts while picking up the pace.
Mom is at home, I need to make sure she's okay...
Coming out from the woods they could see a group of people with katana's slicing people's throats outside the homes.
"There should be a few more around here somewhere." A man with a strange mask says while looking towards Mai's direction.
