Gai Luo slowly turned around to see that in the darkness of the trees he could spot three red-colored eyes staring at him. Two of the eyes were parallel to each other, and the remaining one was on top of the two, creating a triangular shape with the eyes.
Just from the height the eyes were at, Gai Luo could tell that the beast was at least five feet tall and intimidating.
Gulping his saliva, he walked back; he knew that he couldn't summon his sand eater for the next three hours. And although he has gotten stronger after he contracted Hong Hai, he was sure that he wouldn't be able to defend himself against a big beast.
Just from the aura the beast was releasing, Gai Luo could tell that if he didn't escape soon, then this would be his final night on earth.
He glanced behind him to find a way of escape; however, just as he did so, the beast growled again and stepped out of the dark shrubs into the soft light of the moon. The beast was a three-eyed tiger.
