Chapter 6 - Chapter 5

SCOTT'S POV

We enter the nightclub and soon Leo and Mark disappear into the crowd. I look around for an unoccupied table and find an empty one in a corner a little away from the stage. I walk past the sweaty, intoxicated bodies and pull out a chair. Jack pulls out the chair in front of me and sits down.

- So, how's our bet going? Have you given up? - He asks and I can sense the amusement in his voice.

- Never. Giving up isn't in my dictionary. - I look around the place and see lots of women dancing lively. It looks like I'm going to have a lot of fun tonight.

- Any progress? - He asks, sounding disinterested.

- Not yet. - I look at him.

- Dude, you can start renovating the apartment, because it's going to be mine. - He says with a victorious smile on his face.

- Not really, when I want something I get it. You'll see that sooner or later the strange nerd will be eating out of my hand. You can kiss your Lamborghini goodbye now, because that little beauty is going to be mine. That's for sure.

- Why are you so sure you're going to get her into bed? _ The idiot asks me defiantly.

- I told you, no one can resist the charm of Scott Wayans.

- Maybe the nerd isn't the divine choice to hurt that ego of yours that's bigger than you are.

- I've already told you that when I want something, I get it, and nothing will stand in the way of that. - I say confidently.

- Are you sure you're going to get it? I never thought I'd say this, but man, I feel sorry for you. - He makes a disgusted face.

- Absolutely sure, I'll go all the way. Even if I have to pay for treatment afterwards to recover from the trauma of having sex with that horrible girl.

- Man, you really suck. - He laughs.

- And neither do you. Whose idea was the bet anyway? - I ask with a frown.

- And who really accepted the bet? - He retorts in the same tone of voice.

- All right, that's enough. We came to have fun, not to talk about the nerd all night. - I say with the intention of putting an end to the subject.

- I'm going to get a drink, are you coming? - Jack asks.

- Not now. - I reply and he leaves in the direction of the bar. I was thinking of a way to get the nerd to give in a little, when a blonde approaches me.

- Can I sit down? - She asks smiling.

- Sure. - I answer with my most conquering smile - Are you alone? -She nods as she sips her drink.

- What's a beautiful woman like you doing alone in a place like this?

- I was tired of staying at home and decided to go out and have some fun.

- Well, you've found the right person. I've got lots of ways for us to have fun in mind. - I say, approaching her and she stands up, keeping some distance between us.

- My drink's gone, I'm going to the bar to get some more. Can I get you anything? - I stand up and face her.

-You. - I whisper in her ear and feel her skin shiver.

- I'll tell you what, we'll have a drink, talk a bit and then you can show me your ways of having fun. - She says, pulling me by the hand and leading me towards the bar. I order a drink for myself and one for her and we go back to where we were.

- Are you always like this? - She asks me and I look at her confused.

- Like what? - I ask without understanding.

- Straight. - She takes a long sip of her drink.

- Of course, if I want something, why keep waiting. - I say, moving closer until our legs touch. - Let's get out of here. - I kiss her neck, which makes her gasp.

- You've convinced me. She stands up and I smile.

I text the boys that I was leaving and pull her towards my car.

- Are you driving? - I ask and she says no.

- I took a cab.

- That's better. _ I say, opening the door for her and she quickly gets in. We drove in silence, with just my hand roaming all over her body.

When I arrive at the building's parking lot, I take off my seatbelt and hold her against the seat. I start kissing her neck, shoulder and chin, until I reach her mouth and start a quick kiss full of desire. I move my hand down to the hem of her dress and she stops me.

- Not here. - She speaks with difficulty because she's out of breath.

- Okay, let's go upstairs. - I get out of the car and she gets out straight away, adjusting her dress.
