Meanwhile, two figures could be seen sprinting in a particular direction: Laston and Lynx,
"How do you feel?" lynx asked
"I feel exhausted but at the same time energized, I want to by all means keep up with you I don't want to be seen as a liability" Laston said to Lynx,
Lynx then sighed out loud, "you fool you having been exciding my expectation every time so, don't look down on yourself, now explain in details how do you feel.
Laston then replied, "I am tired, but as far as I want to keep going there is just energy coming from nowhere, I can't really explain it, and this is not the first time it is happening, I thought that everyone operates like that, so I ignored it.
So, you mean you get supplied with energy as far as you're tasked with a strenuous task.
Lynx then said inwardly "we have two hours until we reach the village at our current speed, let me see what he can do".
Lynx then asked, "Laston do you trust me"
"Of course, I do"
"I want you to keep running but at the same time close your eyes"
"What! you want me to trip over and fall".
"Look around you idiot, what can possibly happen, this is a plain land, close your eyes but continue running, it's a straight direction so maintain it, and am here so I won't let you hurt yourself, okay?
"Fine, Laston said as he closed his eyes and continued to run, but with time he slowed down drastically due to not wanting to hurt himself.
Lynx then said inwardly, this would be harder than I thought he then said to Laston, "open your eyes"
When he opened his eyes, Lynx had already sprinted fifty meters away from him, when Laston saw the gap between them, he started sprinting at full speed and slowly began catching up with Lynx.
When Lynx saw this, he thought inwardly, is he holding out on me? no that doesn't seem to be the case, he wills to catch up with me which makes his spiritual energy to subconsciously rise thereby increasing his speed.
Lynx then said out loud, I know what you're thinking let's try something, he said as he stopped running.
After few moment Laston caught up to him, he then began running, but just as he had speculated Laston could only keep the same pace with him, but couldn't overtake him.
Lynx then said to Laston with a smirk "can you keep up with me?!!
"Sure, I can don't underestimate me you cocky bastard".
Lynx then muttered in a low voice, beast demon transformation, and at that moment red fog of aura exuded from his body, he then transformed into a cheetah and sprinted off leaving Laston behind, at least that was what he thought.
At that very moment Laston was shocked at how Lynx could easily turn into animals, but without putting in much thought he sprinted with all his might to keep up with Lynx but to no avail.
Unknown to him blue aura could be seen around his body, when Lynx saw this, he reverted his transformation and slowly his beastly aura faded, and he came to a stop so did Laston, take a look at your body Lynx said with a smirk.
When he did, he could see a faint blue light exuding from his body.
Lynx then said to him, "that's your aura now close your eyes and try and feel the energy, follow the energy, be the energy"
Laston did all this following all the instruction given to him keenly, and suddenly his consciousness drifted away into a dark place.
In this place he could feel his body but what caught his attention was a metallic box, that seemed to be floating in midair, and all of his aura seemed to be around this box, that was also exuding similar aura as him.
the aura was also spreading around his body, but in a very miniscule quantity, he then opened his eyes and proceeded to tell Lynx everything he had seen and experience inside the dark space.
When Lynx heard everything, he then shouted with a shocked face, "wait a minute your essence core is still in a metallic cube?
That means it's still sealed which will lead to the only reasonable explanation, the energy you have been using are the ones leaking from your essence core.
Lynx could be seen grumbling to himself saying words that only he could hear as he thought, the core is meant to be sealed until the day of awakening, how come is his sealed core able to release aura.
He then said to Laston "can you visit that place and check whether you can manipulate the energy there"
"Can the energy in that place be controlled?"
"yee ye yess you can" but at least that should be after you have awakened, this he said inwardly with a sly smile.
Laston not really understanding what was going on as confusion could be seen on his face as he stared at Lynx, who was giving him the go ahead sign.
He then closes his eyes, but he was not able to entered the dark room, but after many tries, he finally appeared in the dark room, then thought of a way to control the energy.
Only to immediately discover that, just like a limb the aura can be controlled by mere thought, he then controlled the aura to his legs, but when he tried to take a step, his legs where too fast for his body so he tripped, but got caught by Lynx.
Lynx then said to him, "find a way to balance the energy all over your body"
Laston then thought, pushing the energy to a single part of my body, why don't I send it though out my body that way it will be balanced, he then created a vacuum like hole that sucked energy from the area of the metallic cube.
Which was where his spiritual energy resided, then pushed it to his body channels.
Meanwhile, Lynx seeing the tremendous aura exuding from Laston, he was gob smacked, if this is all leakage then I wonder how much spiritual energy he would have when he's essence core is unsealed
