For a moment I was worried about how things would turn out when I saw the crowd getting angry thanks to an NPC who seemed to want to start a rebellion of disabled people, I even considered sending a lightning bolt right at him to send a message and try to see if that would calm things down. Yes I said before that I didn't like the idea of "enslaving" NPCs but would that surprise apply to someone about to mess up when they've just been saved from possible death?
Fortunately I didn't have to go that far, soon two others appeared and calmed things down, although I have no idea what happened. Sometimes I wish the company would choose to put good old dialogue bubbles instead of emoji bubbles to better understand the story, but I also don't deny that this way it's easier to get on with things without having to think too much.
Anyway, soon after the emotion of receiving the sword and staff passed, as well as the near revolt, things progressed well. Just a little slow for my taste, well not exactly, it also seems like things are back to how they were in the early days when I downloaded Divine's Jorney, with a certain dullness of boredom but still comfortable.
The villagers only helped the newcomers, giving food, some tents and blankets, and assistance to the most injured, apart from that a group also started building barricades towards the barn and what I imagine was the blacksmith made more weapons from those left behind. by the nobleman and his knights.
As everything was just following its normal course I decided to let things go there and I also went to do my things in the real world, eat something quick (like toast) go to the bathroom and some light exercise, it's important to do it even if it's just a little of physical activity so the body doesn't complain later.
Soon almost 20 minutes passed and night came in the game, according to my experience with games, usually at night there is some type of event or information to help you progress, but also considering how the first days were I can't guarantee anything.
The image that appeared was one I had already expected, all the villagers sleeping except the night watchmen, with the exception that almost every square was covered in tents and had more watchmen than usually (from 4 there were now 9).
Even if nothing happened, I decided to keep watch anyway, so that some goblin ends up going unnoticed, right? I don't know what goblins would be like in the game since they would be type 8 or 80 monsters, generally weak individually but using numbers and tricks " dirty" to gain an advantage. If they were alone, they would generally be weak to the point that an untrained person would win, but it could also be a special goblin that could give trouble even to a knight (at least it was like that in most of the stories I've read).
Another concern I had about this was the fact that practically all the villagers, both the native ones I watched and the new ones, had doer levels ranging from 1 to 3, with the highest level NPCs being 5 (these would basically be my fanatic Ivan, Matt, the one was releasing the new arrivals and I helped to calm them down earlier Queliand and some guards), expelled by an NPC that I couldn't know the level it just shows ??? The ones I mentioned just now were either level 5 or 6.
Speaking of the NPC, I couldn't see the level she just appeared, she was a blonde NPC, with green eyes and a blue dress, I thought it was strange, generally the NPCs wore white, brown or black clothes (at least the fanatics, right, the rest still they are figures that you can only see the sex), another slightly strange thing was the thought bubble that she had in her head, varying between a spiral or a crying emoji.
Soon she stood in front of the stone altar and started punching?... Huh, but wasn't she a fanatic? Didn't the description say that they would be super loyal and something like that? Why is she knocking on the altar she helped create?
Hmm.... What should I do in this case, I'm sure an ordinary God wouldn't care and would only punish him for disrespect or something, but I don't really like this approach, apart from the spiral emojis, crying and anger continued to appear, and with each punch she threw they seemed to come in increasingly faster sequences, in addition to her losing 1 HP per punch.
Since I can't see her level, I can assume that losing a little HP won't put her in danger, but even a small amount of damage accumulates into a large amount of damage. While I was wondering what to do with her, another NPC marked as a fanatic appeared, the girl I kind of saved yesterday, she started talking to Sofi and stopped her from continuing to punch the altar.
After a series of emojis (too many emojis and too fast for me to be able to make any sense) Sofi seemed to calm down and now only the crying emoji appeared, while Constance (kind of a strange name for an NPC, even a fanatic who now I think it's better to call it a non-NPC character) it had a hug emoji, how cute.
Shortly afterwards a series of notifications appeared.
[New mission: Wish for Salvation
Description: Sofi had a long and complicated life, until she found friends she could count on. However, due to a disaster in the past, these friends ended up perishing, leaving her alone. Except for a single individual who she managed to keep in a semi-dead state. Sofi then spent years wandering the world looking for ways to reconstitute it, but without success.
Objective: Help Sofi get the final ingredients for a reanimation potion.
- Tear of the earth (0/1)
- Resurrection Plant (0/1)
- Animation herb (0/5)
- Celestial orb (0/1)
- Sparkling green water (0/1L)
Reward: +1 fanatic, +50 faithful, 3,000 Divine Power
Failure: Sofi dies, possible loss of more than half of her followers (devotees, faithful, fanatics)
Time: 2 days (IRT)]
Um my second one at this, cool.
Mission to gather things, not very cool.
Even more so when I can't interact directly with the world, the only ways for me to get these ingredients would be the Shop (not very difficult) and the gacha (which already killed me in 150 yesterday).
Whatever the case, I definitely don't want to lose half of my faithful or for Sofi to die, she would essentially be the Ultra-Rare character that you get once a year or so in normal games (at least I hope she is, right).
So I think I better start shopping.
