Looking around Gordon decided that he had to be on the look out for a weapon. One of legs of the conference room table would work or if he found a food preparation area a kitchen knife would do. Something small even. And he had to get out of this conference room as soon as it was relatively safe.
Shaking his head he realized again how hopeless his situation was.
"Hey! You, I've been searching for you!"
It was then that Gordon saw a woman come confidently striding into the meeting room and right up to him.
"Hey?"
Was all Gordon could say. This was completely unexpected. After being attacked in the alley outside, to have someone actually approach him with such a genial attitude was out of place.
"I have been looking for you everywhere since last night. Starfire Alliance at your service!"
She said briskly while guiding him down the hall and out into a guest lounge area.
"Your from Starfire Alliance?"
He asked, so confused.
