Kris, still trying to grasp the weight of it, raised an eyebrow.
"Is it really that incredible? What's the potential of your Flycon, Cillian?"
Cillian's expression softened, and he let out a small laugh.
"This little guy?" He gestured toward Flycon.
"He's a silver potential Data Beast. Believe it or not, he used to be yours Young Master. You gave him to me after deciding you'd find a Data Beast that 'truly reached your expectation'"
Kris nodded, imagining that his past self probably would have done that.
Cillian continued, smiling at the memory.
"You insisted I keep him, even when I suggested you keep him as a secondary data beast. I really couldn't accept it, but you were so persistent."
Cillian paused, his face softening with emotion.
"Because of that, Young Master, we're here now."
His eyes glistened slightly, and as he wiped away a tear, Flycon leaned closer, sensing the shift in his mood.
The bird's fiery feathers dimmed slightly, as if reflecting Cillian's deep emotions, and it nuzzled against his cheek, offering silent comfort.
Cillian smiled at his loyal companion, gently stroking Flycon's head..
"But enough of that!" His mood shifted in an instant, eyes lighting up with excitement.
"Let's see your Pyro Cub in action! I can't wait to see how fierce it is!"
Kris nodded, a wave of gratitude washing over him as he thought of the past Kris Blazewood.
'This guy knew what he was doing,' he reflected,
feeling a sense of appreciation for the choices that had led him to this moment.
'He had confidence in his abilities and the courage to pursue strength. I may not be him, but I can honor his legacy.'
With renewed determination, eager to embrace this new chapter of his life.
Kris was about to summon his Pyro Cub when he suddenly froze.
"Wait! I don't have a Datavice!" He looked around his room, searching for it.
Cillian's expression lit up with playful mischief. "Oh, I forgot! Hehe, Young Master, here's your new Datavice!"
He knelt down and produced a box from his pocket, presenting it as if it were a precious ring.
"The Masters ordered this and customized the design since your last one was broken when we found you in the forest."
Kris playfully slapped Cillian's head.
"Just give it to me normally! before you start a full-on play about the tragic fate of my Datavice."
Rubbing his head while chuckling, Cillian replied, "Hehehe, sorry Young Master! I'm just really happy since this is the longest conversation we've had since you've been in this mansion."
Kris rolled his eyes, taking the Datavice from Cillian's hands and examining it.
It resembled a watch but was slightly larger, featuring a card swiper on the side.
The device was sleek black with hints of ember orange, and it sparkled with red stones that looked like rubies whenever the light hit them.
"It's unnecessarily boujee. Can I send it back and get something low-key?" Kris's mouth twitched as he said this.
"You get what you get, Young Master! Especially since it's a design from Madam. You wouldn't want her to be sad, would you?" Cillian pouted, giving Kris a pitiful look.
"Okay, okay, I'll put it on now." Kris sighed in surrender. He fastened the Datavice around his wrist and examined it.
'It's not that bad, actually,' he thought, raising his eyebrows in surprise.
"See, Young Master? You look good wearing it!" Cillian beamed with satisfaction, and even Flycon nodded in agreement, making a soft squawk of approval.
"It's time to summon your Data Beast, Young Master!" Cillian clapped his hands, excitement radiating from him.
Kris nodded and focused on his card, which shimmered as if urging its master to proceed.
He swiped the card on the Datavice, and a brilliant orange light filled the room. A silhouette of a lion materialized, gradually shrinking until a small cub lay on the floor, licking its paws.
The Pyro Cub paused, curiously surveying its new surroundings. When it spotted Kris, its eyes widened, and it leaped onto his chest.
Caught off guard, Kris fell backward, the cub snuggling against him and letting out a series of joyful meows as if to say it was happy to meet him again.
"Alright, alright, get off of me already! Hahaha, that tickles!" Kris laughed, feeling an undeniable connection with the cub.
It was as if Pyro Cub had a history with the former Kris Blazewood.
Cillian watched with sparkling eyes as he observed his Young Master smiling and playing with the cub.
He slowly took out his phone, discreetly snapping pictures of the heartwarming scene and sending them to his masters.
As he slipped his phone back into his pocket, it vibrated.
'Hehehe, they must have liked the photo I sent!'
Clearing his throat, Cillian reluctantly interrupted the reunion.
"Ahem, Young Master, why don't you check its stats and attacks on the Datavice?"
"Yeah, I forgot about that. Let's see!" Kris replied, turning his attention back to the Datavice, eager to learn more about his new companion.

Kris held the card up, examining the details. "Pyro Cub is a Rank 1 Fire element with Platinum potential. We already knew that."
Cillian nodded in affirmation, still amazed by the potential. "I can't wait for your Pyro Cub to grow, Young Master. I'm curious about its future."
Kris glanced at the card again. "Claw Strike… Flame Pounce… Scorching Bite… and Defensive Blaze."
Cillian's eyes widened. "Those attacks are typically for Rank 2 beasts! This isn't just a normal Pyro Cub, Young Master; it could even rival mine!"
Kris raised an eyebrow, maintaining his calm demeanor.
"Is it really?"
Kris looked down at the Pyro Cub, a smile spreading across his face as he felt a surge of admiration for the creature.
The Pyro Cub met his gaze, its bright eyes sparkling with curiosity.
It let out a soft meow, as if sensing Kris's approval and mirroring his emotions.
"Looks like we're going to make quite the team, huh?" Kris murmured, feeling a warmth in his chest.
The Pyro Cub nuzzled closer, its tiny body radiating a comforting warmth, as if it understood the bond they were beginning to forge.
