"INTRUDERS HURRY SOMETHING'S HERE!"
The extremely wounded guard shouted as loud as he could every emotion his voice was trembling As these would be his final words soon after he collapsed to the ground massive holes through almost every part of his body caused him to bleed a pool of blood.
In a quick haste Gordon ran over to him, holding The dying soldier tight The look on Gordon's what's that of a troubled man somebody who just lost one of his own, And he did, losing any troops is always heartbreaking especially to Gordon.
"What's the matter come on don't die on me"
Gordon commanded hoping the soldier had a shot, but unfortunately it was too late.
Leon, Jaxon and Iris run over as well, generally concerned and shocked as they have never seen death before their reaction was different. They were horrified as a wave of dread walked upon their faces As they were speechless unable to move Iris vomited falling to her knees weak.
Jaxon quickly put her up and held her together trying his best to calm her down
"It's okay it's okay"
is all Jaxon kept telling her. Maybe perhaps he was trying to tell himself that too.
Gordon had a dark expression on his face as he closed his eyes feeling a golden spark of energy come from his eyes as he did so it's like he could see everything So clearly as if he was there he took in a deep breath pushing further seeing what was to come with his ability and then he took a giant gasp for air as he gave a look one last time to the soldier who died
"Come on we got to go help he said there's
intruders so we are under attack obviously"
Leon stated ready and willing to go and help anybody he can, as Leon spoke Gordon gave a look And he took this time to slip his hands into the briefcase taking out whatever the artifact was and wrapping it into some cloth, Gordon was able to sneak it into the bag of Leon without him seeing.
Gordon then quietly closed the case and stood up frowning as he did so.
"Yes you're right"
Gordon said as he helped Jaxon and Iris get to their feet It was obvious those two were very much shaken up.
Leon seemed to be handling it somewhat well.
"You're right staying wow there's something obviously attacking the castle is a coward's way out"
Iris said.
"That's the spirit"
Jaxon said as he also seemed to calm down.
After slightly taking a few seconds to collect themselves the four of them seeing no other odds rushed forward into the castle where the soldier who gave his life were them about they pushed past the main trail running further and faster with each step, until they enter the main hall which was made with black brickstone very smooth and neatly made the floors were white and pure pretty normal for a castle.
The only thing out of place were the two figures in front of them One being a man and all white slick back black hair That was very thick It was hard to tell what his eyes looked like as he was covered in a white cloak and robes very neatly looking.
The second was some kind of creature It seemed to be fully made out of shadows and had 2 red eyes That could easily be seen The creepy thing was the creature was made of mostly flesh that was blackened and burned looking like an amalgamation of different animals that was cloaked in a dark heavy smoke of shadows.
As Gordon laid his eyes upon the man and creature, he hesitated for a split second before he spoke and uttered the words
"It's a soul Walker not as dangerous as a dreadwalker luckily enough but be cautious"
Gordon said.
"I've never seen something like that before"
Leon commented
"It's disgusting,"
Iris added.
"it's an abomination"
Jaxon stated.
"Oh I see we have onlookers, Are you just going to gawk at this phenomenal creation? What do you want to test its capabilities? I'm willing to allow it, to do whatever it wants to you"
the man in white said with a dark grimace on his face
"What are you doing here?"
Leon asked as he felt disgust in his voice he felt disgusted with the individual in front of him.
"Just come to retrieve that beautiful briefcase That one bloke is holding"
the man in white responded.
"Like hell we're going to let you do that"
Jaxon shouted as Iris hid behind Leon.
"Yeah you want this thing You're going to have to take over my damn dead body"
Gordon said as he stepped forward holding the case tightly.
"You're not even a threat to me, So I'll send the creature, please retrieve that case for me"
the man in the white told the soul Walker.
Has the words come forth like a vicious whisper in the night. The creature stood at attention with its flesh slowly deteriorating, ripping off like a shadow covering it as the creature unhinges its jaw and rushes at the four knights.
Leon took an offensive stance as he drew his long sword, extending it straightly as he got ready for battle.
Jaxon quickly pulled out his shortsword that was customized with specialized cuts in the blade causing it to have a more syringed look on it and jagged. Iris pulled out a long dagger It was a modified dagger that was slightly larger than a regular one wasn't as big as a short sword but it had a long and narrow blade to it that was thinner than a katana so it was lighter it could cut through things and be used pretty quickly but compared to other swords it was weaker.
Gordon gave a stern look not saying many words as he was pretty much annoyed as he slid out his greatsword holding it tightly As he twisted his feet placing them firmly in the ground.
The creature galloping on all fours causing a shockwave as it did so pushed forward at the four of them. The creature twisted its body in a or fine way as it's flesh tore out of it with tendrils and tentacles and blood that's blacker than the night dripped off it as the shadows ripped around biting the creatures flesh but finally piercing out into a blade towards Leon slamming into him greatly, The tendril twisted around as it pierced to Leon's armor slamming him back into the ground with a large thump as chunks of dirt flew upward Leon immediately had the wind knocked out of him by how powerful this attack was.
