Jaxon trying his best took the opportunity to take advantage of the situation he thought the creature wasn't paying attention to him So grabbing his blade he jumped backwards attempting to slide the blade cleanly through the tentacles of the creature however it wasn't quite a clean cut The blade got immediately stuck in the rotten flesh of the creature.
"Damn it kid, That blade is not sharp enough"
Gordon said as Jaxon did his best to pull the blade out as fast as he could he started to pull but the creature had already reacted with another tendril that quickly and violently slammed upward into Jaxon knocking him to the ground.
Iris felt panic and of course forced to do something grabbing her dagger she rushed towards the creature dodging its attacks she was very agile as she slowly cut into the creatures tendril as it swiped into her, she was lucky enough to get close to the creature's body.
However she could not keep her eyes on the creature; it was too much further to handle with now four tentacles coming at her; she was pierced through her stomach and then thrown away like nothing, her armor shattering immediately as she collapsed to the ground. Gordon remained calm.
"You guys aren't able to handle this Go ahead Go warn the others in the barracks it's not too far, I can handle this guy"
Gordon said in a calm manner.
Leon stood up grasping his chest as he did so looking at the others who were quite easily dispatched by the creature he rushed over dodging the tendril that came right at him, So he could pick up Iris, he easily threw her over his shoulders as the tendril came right at him luckily it stopped abruptly as it collapsed to the ground as Gordon stood in front of the pair with his great sword as he swiped easily at the shadowy tendril of the creature.
"Father I'm going to retreat but you better not die!"
Leon yelled, as he felt panicked And like there was nothing he could do. The creature was too fast for him.
Jaxon was the next to stand up slowly but surely dusting off his armor as he watched as Gordon blocked every attack that was coming at him, Leon, and Iris.
"Thank you Gordon, stay safe"
Jaxon said as Iris was too panicked and terrified to even say anything with that the three of them quickly ran back towards the exit as Gordon stayed alone placing down the briefcase
"Now that they're out of the way I can go all out"
Gordon said.
"You can sure try even through you are one of the guardians you'll still be handled with,
with ease!"
The man in the white shouted as he was amused by the whole situation.
The shadowy creature that smelled of rotten fish and bitter egg stood up on its back legs and twisted its head in a 360° angle as a black ooze dripped towards the ground a hissing sound could be heard as the creature shot out eight tendrils towards Gordon.
Gordon held his blade towards the ground bracing himself for the tentacles they wrapped around each other quickly forming into a sharp blade just about as they pierced forward looking to take out any flesh of Gordon but that would not be happening as Gordon met the tendril with his blade cutting it in half and then in three different pieces within a matter of seconds like he was some kind of chef preparing a meal.
The creature cried out in pain as its face echoed a dark desire as more black blood seeked out of its veins, its teeth sharpened as it winced in pain looking at Gordon.
"You're interesting I see your strong but it wont to be enough"
The man in white said.
"Shut up,"
Gordon simply responded.
As the creature in front of him stumbled wrenching back its long arms turning them into large elongated hands with five stretched fingers and sharp claws, its bones shaped and moved differently, cracking as its form was shifting.
"Mommy?"
The creature spoke out with a bitter crunch sound to it as it was hissing, It was a low pitch voice that crackled and popped.
The creature seemed to be honestly confused but like it was in a fury, a bitter rage.
But Gordon was ready; he held his blade tightly preparing for one hell of a fight.
The creature of shadows and bone twisted unnaturally as its bones crackled in a spark of dark energy ignited off the creature and it let out a blood curdling scream of pure death.
As a black liquid leaked out of his mouth the creature adjusted itself as its face opened revealing a large mouth with 18 rows of sharp blood red teeth each row having 24 teeth in it at the bare minimum.
The creature rushed forward sprinting back on all fours leaping and jumping as it did so blasting into the ground with each step the ground shaped and stone cracked that's the creature ran more velocity than before.
But according did not lose hope he smiled and stood firm gripping his sword tightly as the creature rushed directly at him, the creature of shadows and Bones twisted his body with a elevated claw slashing from a good 10 ft away The arm became elongated and broken as it went in to attack the the knight however Gordon rolled forward, avoiding any potential damage as he slashed upward towards the creatures elongated limb splitting it in half causing it to shout out a scream of pain has a black liquid burst out of the creatures who roughly cut limb.
Gordon then dash towards the creature this time he was going to be on the attack The creature attempted to throw as many tendrils at Gordon as it could however each time they came close the knight viciously slashed and cut them off all of his blade quickly and swiftly and just like that Gordon managed to close the distance.
