Instinct took over emotion over being so upset that she couldn't do anything so instinct took over before anybody knew it Vespa with extreme speed dashed and created a sparkling spell of blue energy that corroded from her fingertips creating a spark of purplish blue energy like a bolt of lightning that seem to be sharp and sturdier than most base spells.
It was aimed right at Moxie The spell crackled and popped as it went to struck the young girl but before it could reach a blade prevented it from doing so as a golden greatsword swung down reflecting it however the spell was too strong It cracked the sword in half breaking Tyson's sword it was already dented as is and soon to break anyway but this was the camel's back that crushed the sword, The blade flung to the ground as Tyson got in the way of Moxie and Vespa.
"I don't quite know what you're doing queen but attacking a child isn't very honorable, quite a random act of you ask me"
Tyson said with sarcasm in his voice.
"This child's blood was in my daughter's room, near the gate, It was clear she cut her hand on it putting two to two together like the smart woman I am I came to the conclusion that this child kidnapped my daughter or at least did something to her now I'm unsure why Levin is holding her" Vespa said
"No you don't understand she helped us"
Levin quickly responded hoping his mother would buy it.
"Levin I am your mother So please don't lie to me"
Vespa said coldly as she looked right at her son.
The others remain quiet Leon, Iris, and Jaxon, knew not to speak This was a matter between well a mother and a son, however Tyson really didn't care If you felt like he had to express his opinion he was going to do so but the other three knights were just to the side at this point
Of course the three of them did feel bad that Levin lied right to their faces however they understand to some degree that sometimes secrets are a must however it doesn't change the fact that they did not like being lied to however they were not going to bring the matter up right now.
"Look, I'm sure the boy has his reasons. We don't really have time for this, your highness, there's things going on right now we need to handle"
Tyson said.
"Look just step out the way and everything will be fine, And as soon As you do so we can leave and do whatever that needs to be done"
Vespa stated.
"Well I really can't do that. What a shame"
Tyson responded with no hesitation at all, not even a second went by and he said it like he already knew what she was going to say.
"look I can explain everything she was originally from what I can gather tasked with kidnapping Lilith, however when she understood the situation more she helped she is an enemy please you have to believe me mother"
Levin pleaded
"Oh honey I believe you believe that"
Vespa said.
"Look I'm not going to lie I'm not sure what's going on yeah she might have probably been around your child, Maybe the situation started because of her I don't know and I don't really care You know what I care about anytime a child get hurts So I really can't allow you to do what you want to do right now You're highness"
Tyson said as he stood right in Vespas face.
"Fine have it your way then we will deal with her later"
Vespa said as she accepted the feet for the time being.
"Hey you three over there come over here, we need to gather"
Tyson said as he looked at Leon, Iris and Jaxon.
"Yes yes sir"
Iris hastily spoke, trying to stand up quickly on her feet.
"Is that a conversation over?"
Jaxon asked
"For our sake I hope so,"
Leon added.
Finally after being knocked out for so long Moxie awoke among the noise of many chattering voices she held a headache that felt like a dagger inside her head, Moxie stood up a bit confused and dazed looking at everybody, she saw a few new people actually a lot of new people around her.
"What's going on? Am I alive?"
Moxie asked.
"Unfortunately so thanks to that man right there" Vespa replied with a sharp tone, as she pointed at Tyson.
"Oh you actually survived I was worried"
Levin said
"I'm surprised you were worried about me because of everything hell I don't even know your name"
Moxie said
"It's Levin"
he replied
"Moxie"
She replied back to him.
"Interesting name, I find it rather adorable,"
Levin said as Vespa gave Levin a motherly look. One of you better not bother talking to her.
"I don't deserve such words… I'm nothing but a two bit thief."
Moxie stated.
"Well at least you know your place"
Vespa replied
"Can you stop berating the girl she Just woke up" Tyson told Vespa.
Levin sighed as he looked away but his eyes shifted back onto his mother as he bit down on his lip
"mother… I understand she made a mistake but we can figure out a different punishment, she's helping us now isn't she That's all that matters"
Levin said sternly.
"Maybe perhaps, but I'm still not happy with her or you right now, my child, so do better, my son," Vespa said with a frown.
At this point all the others stood up and got ready for the next action to figure out what they were doing next.
