"Yui, I'm done!"
Haein finally finished and called out for me sitting in the corner.
I was balled up, hugging my knees, shaking, crying, and totally crushed.
"What's wrong?!"
She was shocked and ran over, knelt in front of me, and tried to hug me.
"Don't touch me!"
"Yui, is everything OK?"
"NO! You evil, evil bitch!"
At this point, I had completely lost it.
"Yui…"
"WHY?! WHY DID YOU PAINT THAT?!"
I yelled out and pointed at the last picture she painted.
It was a picture I wished I had never seen.
A picture that didn't bring me any particular memories or ring the bell serving as a piece in a jigsaw puzzle, but nevertheless made me tremble in uncontrollable anger.
It wasn't her fault.
I didn't know what made me so enraged either.
And after all, she didn't know what she was painting.
