Chapter 45 - The Party

I really don't belong here.

I mean, like, I really don't. 

I kept on telling myself as all eyes were on me after I turned up at the highbrow buffet place at Seoul Grand Talker Hill Hotel. The place was packed with people who reeked of money, but what really made me uncomfortable was not only my humble background but how all the other girls looked like they were supermodels or something. Although I always hated those looks, I had to admit I gained a new respect for all the top-class Korean plastic surgeons in Gangnam. 

The guys looked invariably nice as well, ranging from 'pretty good looking' to 'holy shit I might have liked him if I were into guys'. 

But alas, there were also unfortunate ones whose only saving grace was just how well groomed they were rather than any natural gift from God or any Hands of God in Gangnam could save.
