Just as I left the door, I heard footsteps chasing me.
Shit.
It was going to be either Haein or someone trying to catch me and stop me from running away after breaking the nose of probably a stupidly rich girl who was sure to sue me soon, and I wasn't interested in sticking around to find out.
But alas, I was wearing almost glass looking fancy high-heels for this occasion, and I've never run wearing such a minidress before that didn't give my thighs much room to properly run either. To add to the complication, one of my shoes came off at the most unfortunate moment. It made me stumble, and just as I was about to fall, I got caught up by the chaser who embraced me from behind to save me from a certain faceplant.
"Yui, please don't go"
It was Haein.
OK, this was at least better than a security guard I suppose.
"I'm sorry I caused a scene"
I spoke to her without turning to face her.
I felt pretty bad.
