I crossed the small living area of the tower and slung open the door, leaving Shilo inside. I climbed down the ladder and made my way to Sam.
If these two bone heads thought for one second that I was some piece of meat they could fight over, they were sadly mistaken.
Anger and embarrassment flooded my veins. I had half the mind to take my brother and leave them to it. Sam was cleaning the blood from his face. Shilo must have busted his lip. And that did nothing to calm my anger.
I shoved Sam, "What did you say to him?"
Sam threw his arms up in defense, "Hey, relax. It's over now."
I scoffed, "Over?" A laugh bubbled up my throat. "It's not over. What did you say to him?"
Sam sighed and ran his fingers through his hair.
He grabbed me by my arm and began to pull me away from his crew, who had stopped what they were doing to watch us.
"Let me go!"
