Nope, a troop of armed awakeneds all at alert in front of her, looking at her like she was some kind of worldwide threat.
Yeah, she was a threat. A dangerous existence but not to them, that is. But they didn't know that.
Alice glanced around. There were flashing lights on her, and even though it was nighttime, the entire place was as clear as day.
'What was going on while I was in the dungeon?' she wondered and then finally caught a familiar face in the crowd. It was Mark, looking at her shocked.
She raised her hand to wave at him and called out cheerfully,
"Boss, I'm back!" She announced but Mark looked like he was in shock.
"Alice?" He called, confused. "Is that really you?"
"Uh," she slowly dropped her hand. "Yeah."
What was going on? Why was he looking at her like that?
