Chapter 51 - The Search Party

The protagonist charged forward, his sword flashing in the sunlight as he clashed with the search party. The goblins were bigger and stronger than the ones he had faced before, but he was determined to take them down.

The battle was intense, the goblins using their numbers to try and overwhelm the protagonist. But he was a skilled fighter, and he used his Maintainer's Eye skill to anticipate their movements and strike at their weaknesses.

Despite being outnumbered, the protagonist held his own, taking down goblin after goblin. But he knew he couldn't keep this up for much longer. The goblins just kept coming, their numbers seemingly endless.

Just when the protagonist thought he was going to be overwhelmed, he spotted an opportunity. One of the goblins, a particularly large and muscular one, seemed to be the leader of the group. The protagonist focused all his attention on taking down the leader, using every trick in the book to try and defeat him.

Finally, after what felt like an eternity, the leader fell to the ground, defeated. The rest of the goblins, realizing they were leaderless, began to falter and flee.

The protagonist took advantage of the confusion, striking down any goblin who didn't run fast enough. In the end, he emerged victorious, the search party defeated.

As he caught his breath, the protagonist looked around at the aftermath of the battle. The goblins lay scattered around him, their bodies broken and still. He felt a pang of guilt, but he pushed it aside. He had done what was necessary to survive.

"You have received 50 MP from defeating the Goblin search party," the system's voice echoed in his mind.

But that wasn't all. Among the goblins he had defeated, the protagonist had taken down a particularly powerful Goblin warrior. The system rewarded him for this feat.

"You have also received 60 MP from defeating the Goblin warrior," the system's voice continued.

The protagonist's MP was now at 210 . He knew he still had a long way to go before he could rescue Thorne, but he was one step closer.
