As the first light of dawn crept over the horizon, the protagonist climbed down from the tree, stretching his stiff limbs. He had managed to get a few hours of rest, but the sounds of the forest at night had kept him on edge.
He looked around, taking in his surroundings. Spotting a few fruit trees nearby, he decided to grab some fruit to quench his hunger. The sweet taste of the fruit revitalized him, and he felt ready to continue his search for Thorne.
As he walked, the protagonist noticed that someone - or something - was coming towards him. He quickly hid behind a nearby bush, holding his breath as the unknown entity passed by. When the coast was clear, he continued to move forward, slowly and cautiously.
After a few minutes of walking, the protagonist caught sight of a village up ahead. His heart sank as he realized it was a village of goblins. There were around 25 to 30 goblins, all busily going about their daily activities. The protagonist's eyes scanned the village, taking in the crude huts and the makeshift cages scattered around the perimeter.
That's when he saw the Goblin mage, standing at the center of the village. The mage was dressed in tattered robes, its eyes glowing with an otherworldly energy. The protagonist's instincts told him to be careful, that this mage was not to be underestimated.
As he continued to observe the village, the protagonist noticed that some of the goblins were returning, carrying food and animals. He wondered if they had been out hunting, and if they had found anything else of interest.
The protagonist's eyes landed on a cage in the center of the village, and his heart skipped a beat. Could it be? Could Thorne be inside that cage? He knew he had to find out, but he also knew that he had to be careful. One wrong move could alert the goblins to his presence, and he would be in grave danger.
