In this universe of science, swords and magic, there exist people with gifts. These gifted people were termed "mutants", and are born with their gifts. The gifts of mutants vary, from combat related gifts, like pyrokinesis, to support type gifts, such as healing.
They vary not only in types but also in power, ranging from the class [G] (with power to affect/fight five normal fighters) to class [SSS] ( with unknown limits ). The higher the class the rarer they are, also the higher the class the less mentally stable they are.
The birth rate of mutants was always higher than 0.01% of any civilization's normal birth rate. Even with the high birth rate, the actual population of mutants is always less than 0.0001% of the civilization total population. This is because they are hunted down by the leaders of each civilization due to their unstable minds despite their power.
The "mutant" hunt continued till the day Nalan, the fifth [SSS] mutant to be born, found the "stars" and died trying to use it's power for himself. From that day on the world changed. The "stars" imploded and gave rise to a new form of energy, latter, which differs from the universe's ki, aura and mana. This new energy eradicated all "mutants" and gave birth to new gifted people which were later known as "starred".
It was later discovered, that mutant couldn't survive in the presence of "latter" for some unknown reason. At first, the universe was shaken that people so strong could die just by being in the presence of the new energy. But not long after, civilizations started celebrating the new gifted due them being free of the mental defect.
Over ten thousand years later, in a peaceful and loving planet away from the hustle and bustle of the universe. There was a boy born to the ruler of this planet ( a swordmaster ). This boy was a mutant, and unlike every other mutant born after the starred, he survived. A mutant survived in the presence of latter, he was the first of his kind. His parent in a bid to keep their child alive kept this information a secret.
This is a story about the mutant that was born into this world of latter, of certain death for him but survived. A story about a boy who wants to prove to his mom that he is "the strongest".
