Escaping from the sea of fans, we entered a sports car, and this car has tyres for some reasons not known to me. Entering into the driver side, I turned to Jess entering the passenger side and said "This is your car right?"
"Wait, you weren't even sure, then why did you enter?" she replied.
"Just answer, is this yours or not?" I asked impatiently as Jess fans were closing in on us.
"Yes, it is, and why are you driving? Didn't you just crashed recently?" she said with a judgmental look that says 'do you even know how to drive?'.
'Well, to be fair I was also wondering the same thing, but I will gladly keep that to myself. We are about to find out anyway.'
"Buckle up." I said before placing my hand on the stirring wheel and zooming off. So we had me, in my jacket on hospital gown, and a beauty by my side zooming off into the inner city with a pack of fans cheering on. Damn am good.
It never mattered who they were cheering for, as long as they were cheering.

At the fashion store.
"I don't really like the way this looks on you, let's try another one." Jess said, sitting cross legged scrolling through the list of clothes available in the store.
'Not gonna lie though, she looks good.'
"Hey, I said change." Her voice brought me out of my thoughts as my patience which was recovering from near death took another hit.
"We have been here for three hours Jess, let's just pick one and go. I really like this set, let's go with this, eh?" I said trying my best to make my voice persuasive enough.
"After you try these ones." she said putting up a hologram of a set of space cowboy clothes.
2 hours later.
Me and Jess walked out of the fashion store. I was wearing a black tank top on black trousers with my jacket over my shoulder. Jess still in her white gown, but now with a hat on her head and sun shades on.
"We look like people going to the beach." I said, wondering why we just shopped for five hours when all I ended up picking were the black clothes.
"Oh yea, I forgot to tell you, my place is at the outskirt of the city near the seas and mountains. so there is a beach near my place." she replied as we got into the vehicle.
"Lead the way then." I said, getting into the car and zooming off to avoid anymore distractions.
30 minutes later.
"Finally!" I shouted as we reached Jess's house.
"Fine right?" She said as we looked at the 'house' in front of us.
The 'house' seemed to be built of ceramics and wood, weird. It also had only three floors, really weird, it was a bit too wide for a normal house. I asked my smartwatch about it and it said the 'house' was a mansion popular around this part of the civilization.
Standing in front of the mansion was Jess's father. He looked like your normal everyday middle aged dad, but I would not be fooled by his appearance, after all he is a veteran [ 3 stars ] fighter.
If I remember correctly, through the various and horrendous power scaling of the universe there are always classified into two parts, Gifted and Ability User, and three types, Fighters, Supporters and Professional.
Gifted are those who naturally awaken abilities(there are exceptions), they are the mutants and the starred, since mutants are extinct now, Gifted now refers to just the starred. Ability users are those that develop abilities through the normal ancient means of hard work and talents. The Ability Users are the sword users, magicians, mages, aura fighters and so on.
Fighters are those Gifted or Ability users who use their powers to fight, as simple as that. Supporters are those who support the fighters and are also capable of using their powers for so much outside fighting, examples are healers, scouts, strategist and so on. Professionals are ones who use their powers for their profession to produce different kind of goods with special effects. Examples of professionals are alchemists, blacksmiths, weavers, special construction workers and so on.
'I think Jess should be both a fighter and a supporter.' I though as I got close to the mansion.
"Good day sir, I am Neon, the boy you rescued from the crash. Thank you for saving me, and thank you for your hospitality." I said, bowed a bit and extended a handshake.
"Nice, boy. You don't have to be so formal, I saved you because of my lovely daughter here, so you should be thanking her instead." He said as he pulled me in for a bear hug. Separating from the hug, he continued "My name is Paul, so you should call me Paul from now on."
"Ermm, yes sir." I replied still not sure what is going on with this nice and peaceful family.
"Paul, not sir... So Neon, what is you starred level? Because a normal person can not survive such a impact from the crash, and the doctor said there are no traces of aura in your body so I need to know your star level to be able to report to the military and government of the planet to ease their mind." Paul asked me with a 'fatherly' smile on his face.
"Star level uhh?"
"Yes, I have been holding the military back but I don't think I can hold them back anymore with you coming to stay here."
Paul asking about my star level put my mind in turmoil as it brings my attention back to the thing I have been ignoring since I woke up. The real reason I said my name was Neon even though I couldn't recall it. The screen that has been floating at the side of view, it has been there even before I bond with the smartwatch.
