Chapter 11 - Did I Mention Waiting For Coffee?

"Kay …." Danica said, engulfing him in a tight hug. "I really missed you a lot!"

Kaloyan pushed her away out of annoyance and she fell on her butt.

"What guts do you have to come into my house and start to wear my clothes. And, how did you get in the first place?"

Danica winced as she tried to stand up. "Kay, do you have to push me? Now I can't even get up on my own. Help me…." She stretched her left hand, pretending to have lost all the strength in her.

Kaloyan chuckled and rolled his eyes at her. "Forget about that, Danica. Don't try to be a drama queen. You're not on set right now; you're in my house with my clothes on you. So now I need you to change back into your clothes and get the heck out of my house!"

"And how the hell did you get in?" He asked her again.

"You've not changed your door's passcode, Kaloyan. I still remember you used my birthday's date as the unlock code." Danica reminded him as she finally stood up.

"I have to call the cops and inform them there's a strange woman that barged into my house."

She widened her brows, seeing him bring out his phone to make a call. "You'll do no such thing. I'm not a stranger. My car broke down some metres away and I can't go home cause it's late."

Kaloyan checked his wrist watch and it was just some minutes past 7pm. He let out a scoff as he rubbed his torso, trying to suppress his anger. "Don't be ridiculous. There's no space for you here and you have to leave before I do something you wouldn't like."

"Kaloyan, I know you're angry at me but we can forget what has happened in the past and start a fresh." Danica said.

He moved closer to her and grabbed her by the arm, making her to jolt. She looked straight into his eyes which was burning with rage.

"Danica! Do you think you can ever forgive you after what you've done? You left me when I needed you the most. I was facing troubles and my world was crumbling, the only person I needed was someone to love and stand by me, but….." He paused and chuckled loudly, his expression turning darker by each second.

".....you left me to face my problems alone."

Kaloyan's thoughts drifted back to when Danica broke up with him. He recalled her words which were like sharp knifes, slicing through his heart.

"This must be a joke, right?" He asked, placing his hands on her shoulders and stared intently into her eyes. But Danica's expression remained determined, she had made up her mind already and she was going to leave him.

Danica fling his hands away and he voice was certain when she responded. "I'm sure you don't have flower buds on your ear and you can hear me clearly." She snapped at him, unable to hide the irritation she was feeling towards him now.

"I'm breaking up with you, Kaloyan. This relationship has reached its ending point and I have to leave you. My career is more important than anything else and I'm afraid you might damage it if I remain with you."

The memories were still fresh on his head, she left him in dejection then. How dare she try to walk back into his life. That wasn't going to happen!

Never!

Even though his parents wanted their marriage, he was strongly against it, he doesn't care if he stays single all his life but marrying Danica was completely out of the box. She's just a woman who's purely after wealth and fame.

Kaloyan left to his room and came back with her dress. He threw it on her and told her to change into it.

"I don't want you here and it's not too late to take a cab home. I'll be in my room and when I come back, I don't want to meet you here!"

Danica went to hug him before he could leave, her tears soaking his shirt already.

"Kay, I'm sorry. I really love you! I love you so much!" She began sobbing and sniffing at the same time.

Kaloyan was almost crying too but he fought back his tears, not a tears would drop from his eye because of this vixen! He tried to break free from her embrace but she wouldn't budge and even held more tightly unto him.

"Kaloyan please! I'm truly sorry…." She begged further but he wasn't ready to listen to any of her pleas.

"Leave me alone!" He yelled, finally pushing her away. He proceeded to his room and locked up the door.

Out of anger, he smashed the flower vase on the floor and started breaking things.

He found it hard to control his tears and just let them out. Back then, he really loved Danica alot and would do anything just to protect and make her happy.

They have done so many things together and they were inseparables but she broke his love and trust, she made him feel so stupid for loving her.

Kaloyan woke up the next morning and dressed up for work. He opened the door only to meet Danica lying right in front of him. He wondered if she had slept here overnight.

"Danica!" He called her, tapping her shoulder. She opened her eyes and slowly stood up then muttered a 'good morning'.

"You're so stubborn, I thought I told you to leave last night." He said with a frown.

"How could I possibly leave when you were angry?"

"You don't have to act like we have anything in common, okay? Get your dress and get out!" He ordered, walking to the kitchen to make himself a cup of hot coffee.

He walked to the dining area and sat down, slowly siping it. Danica came out already dressed up.

"Kaloyan, I want a cup of coffee too."

He glared at her with an eye roll. "I'm afraid you don't understand English anymore, I thought I told you to get dressed and leave here. Did I mention waiting for coffee?" He asked and she slowly shook her head.

"Good, now get out!" He pointed at the door but Danica was reluctant, she didn't want to leave him already. She still wanted to stick around him more.

She began to cough just to get his attention and it did work.

"What's wrong?" He asked, giving her a scrutinizing look.

"I think I caught a cold since I slept on the bare floor."

"If you want a cup of coffee then go and make it yourself." He simply told her. She hesitantly went to the kitchen but she had her plans.

She intentionally made the hot water splash over her skin just to leave a bruised spot.

As soon as Kaloyan heard her scream, he came running to the kitchen. Danica knew his only weakness was to see someone in pain and as expected, he did have pity on her.

He lifted her in his arms like a princess and brought her to the living room where he carefully treated her wound.

She watched him with a victorious grin on her face. She would always act helpless just to bring him to care for her and slowly she would make him fall in love with her again.

"Be careful next time." He advised her after he was done and she nodded innocently.

"Thanks Kay."

"I'll make you a cup of coffee now."

"Alright."

Few minutes later, Kaloyan came back with a cup of coffee in his hands. He placed it in front of her and she gently took a long sip.

Seconds later, She received a call from Hannah that the car was outside, waiting for her.

"Kaloyan, I'll take my leave now. My driver is here already." She informed him and he nodded.

"That's a big relief. Please take your leave and never come into my house uninvited."

"I'm so sorry, that would never repeat itself." She apologised. After all, they would be getting married soon and she was going to have him all to herself.

She took her leave and when Kaloyan was about to enter his car, he received a call from Travis.

"Hello…."

"Come over to my office, we found something."
