ELOISE POV—
Liam asked, 'Tell us more about this quest of yours.'
'Cross this forest and you will find what to do. This is the only thing I can tell you both,' replied Camile. That was helpful.
Liam yelled, 'This! This is it! Even you had said nothing, we would have entered the forest either way.'
It would be idiotic on our part to waste any time here. I said, 'Liam knows the ingredients which are needed. We just need the sword, right? To get off this planet, I mean.'
Camile nodded. I motioned Liam to follow me as I entered the forest. 'Good Luck!' Camile yelled from behind us.
Entering into the forest, I realized the gravity of the situation. Unlike back in desert, this place is dark. In the desert, there was a sunny atmosphere which is contrast to this place. The classification which I used was faulty. These trees are large, very large. I never thought I would see a tree to larger and bulkier than the Hyperion. In case you don't know what I just said now, you... my friend, you need to refresh your general knowledge. Ever heard of Coastal Redwood. Yes, that's what I am talking about. Even the smallest trees were about 130 metres. The larger trees have completely blocked the sunlight coming from above. The only reason I am able to see is because I have conjured a small light in front of me and as for Liam, he is cat thingy so he can see in the dark. The good thing is that, this forest is dark but not absolutely dark, as some deposits of quartz were around us. Overall, the air around us was bone-chilling.
Liam murmured, 'Are you mad at me?'
'No, Liam. I am not mad at you as I am also responsible for this situation. Did you try to create a portal?'
Liam replied, 'Yes, but for some reason, I was unable to create it.'
I looked at him and said, 'It's maybe because we are in a place that restricts the bending of space and time. So, creating a portal is futile for us. This place has oxygen or some kind of air which would help us to breathe, then again, in Marvel anything is possible. The gravitational force is almost same as that of earth, though it is a bit less than earth and the air is rather dry.' Time to be serious, if I take this lightly, I would die in an instant. Trusting Camile to aid us in getting back to earth could prove to be fatal. We don't know her and precaution is better than cure. Although, there is no cure in this situation.
Suddenly, I saw the leaves some trees glowing greenish-white glow in the dark. They were emitting smell akin to garlic. I saw a fallen leaf on the ground. Liam tried to touch it but I stopped him. He gave me a confused look.
{Sac en polyéthylène}
I made a polythene bag and took a pair of tongs out of my pocket. I am glad that always carry it with me. You never know when you have to pick up unidentified things. I put the leaf in the polyethene bag and kept in my pocket.
I stated, 'Phosphorus. These trees around us have phosphorus leaves. The cold air around us and some other factors are stopping it from bursting in flames. Though if we touch it, we fill face some severe effects. Generally, white phosphorus is kept under water and we are lucky that the air contains very less moisture otherwise phosphine would have killed us. We have to get out of here quickly or else, we will die.' We can't stay in this forest any longer. We have to get out of this forest as fast as we can.
'You don't need to worry about toxic gases. As my master, you are immune to it.'
What! He never told me anything about this. I sighed, 'Liam, you have to stop forgetting things. Tell me all about this when we are back at home.' I am glad about this fact. Dying from phosphine is not something I want to die from.
'Ok, I am really sorry about this. I thought I had already told you about the benefits of being my master. Though, I don't—'
'Liam, listen, we will talk about it later, ok. We have more pressing matters to deal with,' I interrupted him. Ah, I know it very well that this cat is very narcissist.
'Liam, do you think we can find the ingredients here? In this forest?'
Liam replied, 'I think so. I mean not all but maybe some of the ingredients should be available here.'
I asked, 'Come to think of it, what are the ingredients?'
'We need a special wood from a tree, from what I have heard the tree should be completely black. Also, we need something for the core,' replied Liam.
Hmm, fine. Without a core, making a wand would be next to impossible. From what I remember, Harry's wand core was made from Phoenix feather. I need something better, something robust, something that will help me to make the greatest wand ever seen by anyone. I know, I am stretching this greatest wand thingy but I am not going to back down. I will do what I am best at, that is making and building things.
Looking ahead, I spotted some rabbit-like creatures. They were in multiple colours. They had pink coloured eyes with long ears and a long tail.
'Liam, are you hungry? Go ahead and eat them,' I teased him.
Liam faked a laugh and sassed back, 'Haha, very funny. Good joke, Eloise. I am laughing non-stop.'
Normally, girls would swoon at these creatures of fur, I, for one don't give a fuck about them. Then again, these creatures may be violent in nature. I am not taking any risk.
Upon spotting us, the rabbits, yes, I am going to call them rabbits, growled and showed us their sharp fangs.
I took a step back and said, 'Liam, prepare yourself to fight. Remember one thing, don't go near those phosphorus trees.'
This time I conjured an ice blade. It makes cutting the flesh easier. We took our stances and readied ourselves to fight. Though for some reason, they never attacked us. They whimpered and trembled in fear, almost as if they are of afraid.
'Are they afraid of us?' asked Liam.
'I don't think it's us Liam,' I replied.
Leaving us here, the rabbits ran away as fast as they could. This is bad, very bad.
'Liam—'
'ROOOAAAAARRRR!!!!!'
Ah, shit. I knew they were afraid of something. Now, I know what they are afraid of.
