CHAPTER 27 💜 28
Neriah walked through the streets of New York aimlessly. She knew her way home but she didn't want to go home. Her eyes flooded with tears as she thought about the events that took place earlier.
She already made up her mind last night that she was never going to leave him but she wanted to see what he would do to hold her back.
To her surprise,his demon even asked her when she would be leaving? It sounded like they were eager to get her out of their lives.
She felt heartbroken when he told her it was time to go home. She wished it was some kind of joke but when she felt a change in surroundings and saw that she was in the human world then she knew he had decided to let her go.
Didn't he say she will be the one to decide whether she wants to leave or not? But it was all fake,he probably planned on letting her go initially.
"Dumb ass"she cursed at him as she sat on a nearby chair and looked down.
Wait! What would she tell her parents if she goes back home?
Will she tell them that she met Lucifer as in 'Satan'? They will probably think she was going crazy.
Could she survive without him?
She huffed at that thought. She must have sounded a bit pathetic.
Tears flowed down her eyes as she thought about their times together. He is truly not human to be able to let all that go but it will be hard for her to. She will hold unto them forever.
She felt sad that he just gave up on her like that even after confessing that he loved her. She expected him to go after her and hold her back but he didn't. He was a fucking coward!
Or are kdramas wrong? The male lead goes after the female lead when she tries to leave them but unfortunately they are humans while she fucking fell for a demon.
No!he has a wolf too and he once mentioned something about a dormant vampire side which has never awaken.
She raised her head up and her eyes caught a familiar figure walking around dejectedly. She scoffed at the sight of him.
Was he trying to be pathetic after letting her go?No way she was going to let him put the blame on her.
She hurriedly went after him and tailed behind him until she got tired. Where the fuck was he going?!
She pulled off her slippers and angrily threw it at him and she watched as he turned back with a hard glare while she stood boldly glaring at him back.

Lucifer stood rooted at the spot as he stared at the woman before him. Was this an illusion or she was really with him?
"I must be imagining things."He said as he made to move but another slippers hit his head again.
"Don't even dare move an inch"Neriah roared as she moved closer to him and she raised her hand up.
"Pa!pa!"the resounding echoes of slap filled the air and people turned to look but later regarded it as a 'couple quarrel' as they went their way.
Lucifer's face turned as a smile made it's way to his lips. His demon and wolf were also chuckling with amusement inside him.
He turned to her and saw that she was still throwing daggers at him with her eyes. Well,the slap already confirmed that she wasn't an illusion.
Neriah watched Lucifer as he smiled and she looked at him like he was crazy. She didn't mean to slap him but her emotions got the best of her.
"May I ask what I did to deserve a slap?"Lucifer asked as he stifled a laugh. He must look crazy to want to laugh in a situation like this but the angry look on Neriah's face made her look cute.
"You fucking coward, how could you let me go? You are probably tired of me,right?. You are tired of making every meal for me and having to talk to a chatterbox like me but then Mr Lucifer you have no choice than to deal with it. We are together forever,we are mated to each so it's either you accept it or I fucking send you back to hell and trust me when I say I will be with you even in hell. So we are stuck together!"Neriah barked as tears rushed out of her eyes.
All her emotions including the ones she never knew she had were poured out. She now knew that she didn't want to leave this man, human or not, Lucifer or not. He was hers now and forever.
Lucifer stood speechlessly as he stared at her. It must be his imaginations.
"What...do..y..o..u..m..e..a..n..?"asked Lucifer with shaky voice and Neriah moved closer to him as she tiptoed making their lips a few inches apart.
"I love you, Lucifer"whispered Neriah against his lips and that was all Lucifer needed to claim her lips.
He pulled her closer as he fed hungrily on her lips. Their once gentle kiss turned rough and his demon was craving for the feeling of their mate and his wolf was no exception.
Neriah stood on her toes as she grabbed his collar pulling him deeper into the kiss. Everywhere around her disappeared and all she could feel was his lips on hers and the warmth emitting from his body.
Her body suddenly heated up and she felt uncomfortable all of a sudden. She harshly pulled away from the kiss as she itches her body. She had this crazy urge to pull off her clothes as her body itched badly.
Lucifer stared at his mate and he got the hint of what was wrong with her. She was in heat.
Normally,after wolves mark their mates. It is expected that their mate go into heat which is unbearable but it can also be easily cured if they complete the mating process.
"This is all your fault,stupid animal"his demon cursed at his wolf who purred happily ignoring him.
"We will finally get to taste mate"his wolf said and Lucifer scoffed.
"Stupid horny wolf"he muttered as he pulled Neriah,who was close to tearing off her clothes into his arms and teleported them back to the mansion.

Neriah watched as Lucifer gently placed her on the bed. Sh felt comfortable in his arms and the itching stopped for a while but it will feel shameless if she asked him to keep her in his arms.
She groaned in pain immediately, he let her go as the pain and itching started again.
Lucifer sighed sadly as he laid beside her and pulled her into his arms. He felt her stiffened as she tried to pull away and he chuckled.
"Just stay like this,it will reduce the pain although it can't let it go away"said Lucifer and Neriah relaxed.
Sh couldn't deny that she loved the feeling of being in his arms but it felt awkward at the same time.
"What do you think is happening to me"she asked calmly as she drew invisible circles on his chest with her fingers and Lucifer took in a large amount of air.
She was making it more harder for him to control his raging hormones and his wolf was also there filling his head with naughty thoughts.
"You are in heat. It is meant to happen sooner or later since I already marked you"Lucifer stated simply not going into the details and Neriah hummed.
"How do I stop it?"Neriah asked and Lucifer sighed.
"We have to complete the mating process"said Lucifer and Neriah looked up at him.
"How do we complete the marking process?"she asked innocently and Lucifer ignored her.
"Tell me, this pain is unbearable. Let's just finish it"Neriah said before narrowing her eyes at him.
"Do you plan on completing it with another woman?"she asked with a doubtful gaze and Lucifer pushed her down quickly.
He laid on top of her pinning her hands above her hands with his hand. He gently slid his hand down her legs as he parted her laps and slid it in between and Neriah gasped.
"We have to mate as in have sex if we want to complete the mating process"he said huskily as his hot breathe fanned Neriah's face and she gulped down nervously.
She couldn't deny that all the nerves on her body was at alert and she tensed up. She fucking wants him to do it but it seemed like he doesn't plan to.
She pulled him back and turned him over when he tried to pull away as a smirk plastered on her face.
"And where do you think you are going to?"she whispered seductively as she trailed her finger down his face.
Lucifer stared at her shocked. Was this really his shy and innocent mate? She looked like a seductress on top of him. He licked his lips as he stared at her hotly. His rationality was slipping out of him with a quick pace.
"Why are you so silent? Isn't Lucifer,the lord of temptation?"Neriah said slowly.
She couldn't explain what came over her but she knew she will definitely be ashamed to death the next day.
"Don't play with fire"Lucifer warned huskily as he tried to move but she didn't let him.
Who was he kidding? Neriah is tiny compared to him. His body refused to move like he was held under her spell.
"What if I want to get burnt by the fire"she asked huskily as she brought her lips closer.
"Then I will take that as your second wish"Lucifer replied as he lost the last bit of his rationality.
