CHAPTER 33 💘 34
Lucifer walked into the kitchen and stared at Neriah as she hummed a song while swaying her ass to the rhythm. He giggled as he moved closer and hugged her from behind trailing kisses on her neck.
"Good morning,moonshine"he greeted and Neriah giggled as she leaned against him.
"Morning Lucian"Neriah replied softly and Lucifer hummed as he pressed his throbbing man on her ass and Neriah squealed.
"Don't start Lucian. Am still sore and I haven't healed."Neriah said and Lucifer sighed in disappointment as he pulled away and rested on the shelf.
"What are you making?"he asked as he stared at the mess she made around the kitchen.
"I am making pancakes"Neriah said and Lucifer's eyes widened as he stared around the kitchen.
"Have you made it before?"he asked and Neriah glared at him.
"No but no matter how it tastes you have to eat it all"Neriah said sternly and Lucifer nodded nervously.

Lucifer stared at the so called pancake before him and his hands shook as he took a bite of it.
Just like he thought, it tastes awful. It was too salty and full of pepper. Like did she pour the whole jar of salt in this?!
He looked and saw him glaring at her,more like she was daring him to make a complain. He put on a fake smile as he munched on the food.
"It tastes so delicious"he lied feigning a fake enthusiasm and Neriah laughed heartily.
"Have you forgotten that I can see through you? I know it tastes awful so don't force yourself to eat it" said Neriah as she took the plate of pancake before him and poured it into the trash bin.
"I will make something for us to eat. You don't have to feel bad,with time you can learn cooking" said Lucifer in a comforting tone and Neriah squinted her eyebrow at him.
"Do you plan on making me cook my meals?"Neriah asked and Lucifer nodded negatively.
"So I don't think I need to learn how to cook"Neriah said grinning widely and Lucifer chuckled as he ruffled her hair.
"That's my girl"he said as he walked towards the kitchen shelf and checked the ingredients to know what to cook.
"I want to go home"Neriah said and Lucifer froze as he turned to her.
Everything was well between them so why did she want to go home? Was she tired of him? He was sure he did nothing wrong to her.
"I don't know what you are thinking now but no,am not leaving you. I fucking told you that we are stuck together."Neriah gritted out and Lucifer sighed in relief.
"Then why do you want to go back?"asked Lucifer as he turned to her and Neriah smirked.
"I want to introduce you to my father"she simply said and Lucifer broke into a cold sweat.
"Fret not,my father don't bite. I didn't expect the great Lucifer to chicken out like this"Neriah teased and Lucifer was still nervous.
"Why? It's fine if you want to see him but I don't think I need to come along. I mean I can take you there and just say my name if you need me to take you back"said Lucifer in a shaky voice and Neriah rolled her eyes.
"Don't you get it? I want to tell my father about us and our relationship. I have been away for about a month now so he must be so worried. I want him to know that am safe" Neriah half-yelled but Lucifer wasn't still calm.
Last he checked, she barely talked about her father. All he knew was that she lost her mother when she was ten and her father married a wicked woman who is her step mother.
He knew nothing else about her family and now she wanted him to meet them just like that. Was that how humans do things?? This sounds crazy.
"When?"he asked praying it wasn't anytime soon.
"Today"Neriah said with a smile and Lucifer gulped down nervously.
He hated to admit this but his mate is a little witch! How could she punish him this way? Yes,it was a punishment to him because he didn't know how to deal with humans. He never spoke with any human except her so how was he supposed to talk to her father?
"Snap out of it and get ready. We are leaving soon"Neriah said grinning from ear to ear and Lucifer nodded nervously.

"You can still change your mind now. I can just go back till you need me"Lucifer said for the umpteenth time and Neriah glared at him.
They were at her father's gate and he wasn't willing to enter. She pulled him inside and he grunted in disapproval but he couldn't do anything.
He was helpless and powerless when it comes to his little devil called mate.
She pulled Lucifer into the house and was shocked that it was unnecessarily quiet and calm. Well,Samuel never allowed the house to be this quiet.
"Daddy!"she called out and she heard a sound of the library door opening.
The door opened revealing a woman in her fifties. Lucifer couldn't see her face as her long hair covered it. He turned and saw Neriah looking at her with hatred.
"Who was this woman?"he thought and his demon scoffed.
"Use your instincts. She should be her stepmother."said his demon and Lucifer nodded in realization as he also glared at the woman with his red eyes.
The woman turned to him and his eyes widened as he stared at her. Unconsciously,he let out an angry growl as his wolf and demon struggled to get out of him at once.
Neriah glared at her stepmother. She didn't expect her to be home at this time. It was around that time in the year when her stepmother goes to visit her family. A family no one ever saw but only heard about.
She watched as her stepmother's eyes turned to Lucifer and she saw the look of familiarity and shock on her face. There was no way she could know Lucifer but the growl coming from Lucifer and the dangerous aura he was emitting made it obvious they had met.
Of course,they sure didn't have a good history together judging from their reactions.
