Yuki was done playing around with Kei-Kei. He would end this here and now. Kei-Kei conjured a Dakuenaji katana in his left hand, preparing to attack Yuki back aswell. Yuki placed his hands on the floor, all of his Kami no Chikara surging out as the temperatures dropped.
Yuki: "Ultimate Ice..."
Ice formed as Yuki's Kami no Chikara continued its output. The extreme power behind it causing snowflakes to fall and breathes of everyone around to be visible in the cold air. Kei-Kei ran in, attempting to disrupt Yuki. However, he was far too late in that attempt.
Yuki: "Lotus Explosion!"
A large amount of ice immediately burst forth in all directions around Yuki before curving upwards and forming the shape of an unbloomed lotus. Then, it exploded out in a freezing chill, ice shards and cold air blasting all around and in the lotus. Kei-Kei was hit directly, his attempted disruption put him in point blank range.
Kami no Chikara barriers were put up to protect the audience from the lotus' explosion. Once all was done, everyone in the audience was shocked by the level of attack let loose by Yuki. After the attack, Kei-Kei stood in the frozen lotus, his left arm blown off and part of his right arm wounded severely.
He was panting, and in the center Yuki was standing with fatigue, but not to Kei-Kei's level. He moved his hands, bending the ice of the lotus to attack Kei-Kei. Kei-Kei tried to dodge and was successful at first. Until he was hit by one, then another. There was no end it seemed.
So, Kei-Kei channeled Dakuenaji and Kami no Chikara into his vocal cords, dissolving the conjured weapon and siphoning some Kami no Chikara from Mochi's latent power as a Legendary Armament to power up his Oni Roar. He let the roar loose and managed to shatter the rest of the lotus that was left.
Kei-Kei fell to his knees, retching and hacking up blood. Even with his regeneration for his left half, he wasn't healing enough. Kei-Kei was spent. Exhausted. He got up and clutched Mochi tightly in his right hand, weakly beginning to run for Yuki. Though, it was more of a stumble.
Yuki, having recovered partly from his fatigue, stepped out of the way and shoved Kei-Kei to the dirt, before kicking him out from the arena. He looked down on Kei-Kei, the cold glare back again.
Yuki: "You lose. As expected."
Shintawa jumped out from the stands and ran to Kei-Kei, picking his friend up. Shintawa channeled Kami no Chikara into Kei-Kei, refilling his reserves and healing the wounds on his right side, though he was left with scarring. He opened his eyes with exhaustion.
Kei-Kei: "I...I lost..."
Shintawa: "Hey, so did I. Rest up."
Kei-Kei nodded and stood up from Shintawa's arms, struggling but able to stand thanks to Shintawa's donation of Kami no Chikara. He listened as Yuki was announced as the winner of the Shinobi Conference, and watched as he was handed a crest to mark his victory.
Afterwards, Kei-Kei, Shintawa, Keyati, and Dasizai were beginning to leave. That was until they were stopped by Misuto Ha who ran up behind them. After stopping them, he began to speak.
Misuto: "Wait. I have something I want all of you to here. Well, mostly the two that were in this tournament. But your friends can join us."
Shintawa: "The hell about?"
Misuto: "Come with me."
Misuto brought the four of them to a plaza in Tatakai City, where Gasuto, Gādo, Honō, Nami, and even Yuki were waiting. He stood on front of everyone and began speaking.
Misuto: "My people in the Village of the Shroud have been opposing the Global Government for centuries since the Kachi Era. But now, we have discovered a new threat. My father was a scout. And he found this mysterious man channeling three souls with immense power."
Everyone was silent. Some of them listened more than others. But they were all clearly intrigued by what Misuto was saying. And of course, whatever it could mean.
Misuto: "Plus, we discovered that three coffins were stolen from the Global Government facility where they house the bodies of previous Heavenly Swordsmen and their companions. That is to say that in short, there is something bad coming. And I want all of you to help. Any questions?"
Honō: "Why the hell were you here then. If this is so damn dire."
Misuto: "I figured strong fighters would come to the Shinobi Conference. I was right. Listen, if either of those incidents result in the destruction of Han'ei as we know it, we will have lost everything. Surely all of you must have something to care about."
Most everyone agreed with his last point. Kei-Kei, Shintawa, Dasizai, Keyati, Gasuto, Gādo, Nami, and even Honō begrudgingly agreed. Even Yuki would grumble, beginning to speak.
Yuki: "My master would urge me to save Han'ei. So, I shall for that is what I was taught."
Misuto nodded and quickly pulled out a bunch of documents, all stolen from the Global Government. He read the contents in order to list the facts.
Misuto: "We only have more information about the three stolen coffins. According to the file, the Global Government was given a location in the Shinseina Valley. So, I need some of you to go there."
Kei-Kei raised his right hand, volunteering for himself and the other three he traveled with. However, the others decided to not help with that, rather investigate cities and towns fir information on the mysterious man. Misuto was going to look for that mysterious man aswell.
Thus, Misuto gave Kei-Kei the location of the Shinseina Valley. Trusting him to figure the coffin situation alongside Shintawa, Dasizai, and Keyati. Everybody else left. Simply leaving Kei-Kei's group.
Keyati: "You dumbass...you got us dragged into a bunch of needless bullshit!"
Kei-Kei: "Hey! Helping save Han'ei increases my chance of becoming the Heavenly Swordsman."
Keyati: "You're more like a Heavenly Wannabe-"
Dasizai: "Enough you two. We are involved, and we're entrusted with this. Let's go."
Shintawa: "Yeah. But the Global Government is involved with our little mission here. So expect a lot of their guys."
After the group settled down, they began walking to the subway station of Tatakai. They were going to take a train to the town inside of the Shinseina Valley, near the location given. Seizon-sha, the town of survivors. The next step of the journey was now to begin, to potentially save Han'ei.
