Aboard the train towards the Shinseina Valley, Kei-Kei, Shintawa, and Keyati were sitting in a booth together. Dasizai had gone off on his own instead of on the train, having made a last second decision to do some of his own investigative work.
Kei-Kei was chowing down on some onigiri, having ordered many servings, not getting up for breath. Keyati looked a tad irked by Kei-Kei's chewing noises, but at the same time when did she not look pissed. Shintawa looked at Kei-Kei, who was sat on his right.
Shintawa: "Han'ei to Kei-Kei. We have to discuss what we're gonna do once we arrive in Shinseina remember?"
Kei-Kei finally glanced up from his food and to his left at Shintawa while also looking at Keyati. He swallowed, taking a bit of effort to fully gulp down all the food stuffed into his gullet.
Kei-Kei: "Sorry! I totally forgot! That onigiri was so damn good though!"
Keyati: "We don't give a shit about your onigiri! We just hafta talk about what we're doin' once we get to Shinseina Valley."
Shintawa: "Exactly. Right now, everyone else who Misuto talked to is investigating our mystery man. So we are going to hopefully find the coffin robbers at the location of this invite they penned to the G.G."
Shintawa put the written invitation which housed the exact coordinates in the Shinseina that the individuals who stole the three corpses left.
Kei-Kei: "Is this really all we got? I mean I take what we got but shouldn't we aim for something more solid?"
Keyati: "For once a smart point. But, we don't have anything else to go on. So we hafta check it out."
Shintawa: "Mhm. Plus, remember to stay alert. The Global Government is also gonna be here and they might deploy their elite soldiers."
Kei-Kei and Keyati nodded in response to Shintawa's statement. After that was settled, they resumed the silence of their train ride. Shintawa had bought some tea before getting on and took a sip of it. Kei-Kei resumed chowing down on his onigiri. And Keyati decided to get some shut eye, closing her eyes for a nap.
The ride lasted for around three more hours before finally, they reached their stop. Kei-Kei woke up Keyati and then the three made their way off the train. Upon their leaving of the train, they took in the scenery of the tiny village at the start of the Shinseina Valley.
Shintawa: "Well, Shinseina Village is more quaint than I thought the only real civilized area of a popular locale would be."
Keyati: "Whatever. Let's get moving. We aren't here for a tour."
The three of them walked through the streets of the old fashioned village, before leaving its boundaries in order to reach the location set by the invite. They walked for minutes upon minutes. That was however, before a Global Government squadron appeared. With weapons trained on the three.
Then, six figures made their presence known. Kei-Kei, Shintawa, and Keyati recognized who they were based on the uniforms they wore. They were six members of a seven person elite team of the Global Government. The Seven Heavenly Spears.
There was a large man, who possessed no Kami no Chikara in anything but his weapons, Tsuyogari the Bull. A man with a slender frame and scars carved into his face, Nogasu the Deceiver. An older male with two daggers at his side, Tanken the Killer. A younger woman with a sniper rifle in tow, Dangan the Sniper. An older woman dressed as a martial artist, Ashi the Brawler. And the final member present, an old man with silver greys in his hair, Yūgaina the Venom.
Shintawa: "Oh shit...i-it's..."
Kei-Kei: "Some of the strongest people in Han'ei..."
All six of them were deadly and well known in Han'ei, however, their leader was absent. Likely choosing a different matter over showing up in Shinseina. Tsuyogari jumped forwards and looked at Keyati, smirking a little.
Tsuyogari: "A fellow Anomaly devoid of Kami no Chikara. Why don't you join the right side eh?"
Keyati: "In your dreams-"
Yūgaina: "Enough horseplay, let us get started-"
He was cut off by an exclamation from atop a boulder in the distance. On it was a male with long hair, black in color. And a woman with short hair of the same hue. The man spoke, introducing himself and his sister as Kita and Minami.
Kita: "Hello Global Government! I am sure you arrived based on me and my sister stealing three corpses."
Dangan: "You have three seconds before I-"
Ashi grabbed her snipers muzzle and shook her head. Then, Minami spoke up.
Minami: "We have taken these three corpses to overthrow the Global Government!"
The twins raised up the three open coffins. In them were three withered corpses. One of which had a prosthetic left arm. The twins smiled and looked back towards everyone.
Kita: "My sister and I can use our Kami no Chikara to drag spirits back to bodies and replenish corpses respectively."
The twins clapped and began using their techniques. Kita turned to the corpses and placed his hands outwards, using his technique, Rejuvenation. He restored the bodies to look alive. One was a man with light blue hair, a woman with long black hair, and a man with white hair and a prosthetic left arm.
Minami raised her hands and used her technique, Soul Resurrection.
Minami: "The Assassin, Lei-Lei Katsukura!"
Kei-Kei: "Wait that's one of my ancestors-"
Kami no Chikara flooded the female corpse called Lei-Lei, planting her soul back into her body. Her black hair looking healthier with a soul. Minami resumed.
Minami: "The Dual Blades, Zotawa Rodin."
Shintawa: "HUH!?!"
As did with Lei-Lei, Kami no Chikara flooded the corpse. Planting Zotawa's soul within the restored vessel. Giving it new life. The light blue haired corpse shambling as it regained senses. Minami then began the final step.
Minami: "And finally, the Heavenly Swordsman of the Kachi Era, the Strongest Human in History, Kachito Mishimura!"
Everyone in the Global Government, aswell as the main three, looked shocked. As Kami no Chikara filled the corpse of Kachito Mishimura, the white haired body with a prosthetic left arm. The soul returned and the corpse arose.
The plan of the twin grave robbers was now apparent. These weren't any old corpses, no. These were the corpses of the three who saved Han'ei to start the Kachi Era. The Heavenly Swordsman of the Kachi Era, Kachito Mishimura, his loyal friend Zotawa Rodin, and his wife Lei-Lei Katsukura. Resurrected and in their flesh once again.
Kita: "AHAHA!!! Now our domination of the Global Government will be a piece of cake!"
The three ressurected individuals opened their eyes, all of them now had black sclera and white irises. Symbolizing their undeath. Warriors of another era, brought back in the present. Kei-Kei stared up the ressurected Kachito and Lei-Lei, knowing from Dasizai's stories that they were his ancestors. And Shintawa looking at Zotawa, knowing the relation between them based on hair color and name alone.
The main three, the Global Government, all were shocked by the twins. And what would come from this was yet to be seen.
