Kei-Kei, Shintawa, and Keyati stood at one of the many exits of the Shinseina Valley. Eventually, the car Dasizai had sent to pick them up arrived and let them in. Shintawa took shotgun whilst Kei-Kei and Keyati sat in the back, waiting for the several hour drive.
After nearly five hours on the road, the driver stopped and made them get out. It was raining and pouring down, even after the hours following Dasizai's call. Just in front of them was now the Rest & Prayer Inn. Kei-Kei grabbed his things from the back, as did the others, and went inside. In the lobby, Dasizai was waiting for them whilst sipping some sake.
Dasizai: "There you guys are."
Kei-Kei took a seat at the table Dasizai was seated, Shintawa and Keyati taking chairs for themselves and moving them to be at the table. Dasizai pulled out a file, which seemed hastily put together and opened it, displaying the file to the others.
Dasizai: "Following the news broadcast, I had some of my employees investigate the Village of the Crescent Lake since I was nearby. In doing so, I confirmed that they weren't bullshitting. One of the Yo-Kai is there. And it's evidently as strong as measured as you can see by the downpour."
Shintawa: "And what're we gonna do about that huh?"
Kei-Kei: "We could fight it-"
Keyati: "Fight a God Class!? I can't do Exorcism Incantations because of my lack of Kami no Chikara, but you two don't even know the first thing about it!"
Dasizai: "Yeah...I'm the only one of us competent enough to use Exorcism Incantations considering I'm a Yo-Kai Investigator. However, Mochi is a katana capable of hitting Yo-Kai without incantations, hence it's legendary nature."
Shintawa: "We knew that."
Dasizai shrugged and took a sip of his sake. He lifted from his seat and motioned for them to follow. Dasizai walked outside, into the downpour of rain and pulled out a few talismans. Once Kei-Kei, Shintawa, and Keyati joined him, he turned to Kei-Kei and Shintawa.
Dasizai: "I'm going to reach you a basic incantation for defensive and offensive use against Yo-Kai."
He placed two talismans in their hands. He first turned to Kei-Kei, who only needed to know the defense because of Mochi.
Dasizai: "Say the words, 'Fortify my body, my very soul, bring me protection Heavenly Dragon.' And then, you focus your Kami no Chikara into it."
Kei-Kei: "Fortify my body..."
Kei-Kei began putting his Kami no Chikara into it, however accidentally also put Dakuenaji into it.
Kei-Kei: "My very soul..."
The Dakuenaji mixing in bolstered the effects beginning to manifest from the talismans. The mixture of life energies from human and Oni clearly being quite the potent one.
Kei-Kei: "Bring me protection Heavenly Dragon!"
A white and purple light flashed from the talisman and engulfed Kei-Kei in a matching aura. He felt like a suit of armor was covering his every pore. The talisman successfully granting him defense.
Kei-Kei: "Did- Did I do it right?"
Dasizai: "Yeah! Nice work Kei. Now, Shintawa."
Shintawa: "Hm?"
Dasizai: "From watching you, I realize offense is your best area. So I will only teach you the offensive incantation."
Shintawa: "What about Keyat-"
Keyati: "I can hurt Yo-Kai with my blessed bullets."
Keyati pulled a glowing bullet from her belt, showing it off in her hand before loading it into her revolver.
Keyati: "Don't worry 'bout me."
Dasizai poked Shintawa's forehead, gaining the farmer's concentration once again. Shintawa smacked the finger away and glared. Dasizai chuckled before putting a straight face on.
Dasizai: "Now, repeat as I do. Just as Kei did. 'Strengthen my fists, my feet, the blades I do battle with. Bless me with the power to harm spirits. Caress with your strength Heavenly Dragon.' Very similar right?"
Shintawa: "Yeah...that was so ass...but if it's the only way to harm a Yo-Kai..."
Shintawa straightened himself up, improving his slouching posture. He clenched the talisman tightly in his hand and poured Kami no Chikara into it.
Shintawa: "Strengthen my fists, my feet, the blades I do battle with..."
Shintawa's Kami no Chikara began adopting a golden hue in his hand as it went into the talisman.
Shintawa: "Bless me with the power to harm spirits. Caress with your strength Heavenly Dragon!"
Golden aura engulfed Shintawa, the new energy fusing into his muscles. A fiery and gold aura marked the activation of the offensive incantation. Shintawa felt stronger than usual, though it wasn't all strength boost. Merely just allowing Shintawa to hurt Yo-Kai.
Dasizai: "Very good. Now you both have the bare basic tools to help. And Keyati's armed."
Dasizai pulled out his phone and began typing. Kei-Kei tilted his head, Shintawa as well. Keyati just looked at them, being more accustomed to this having been an employee for him.
Keyati: "He's arranging a way to find the damn thing."
Kei-Kei: "Ohhhhh..."
Shintawa: "To the Yo-Kai? It can't be that hard."
Dasizai: "Correction, village sightings prove that the Yo-Kai resides in the water by the Village of the Crescent Lake. And according to my intel, many wannabe Heavenly Swordsman candidates are going on ships to find it."
Kei-Kei perked up at the mention of other people who want to become the next Heavenly Swordsman. Shintawa however, wasn't more focused on the taking boats aspect.
Shintawa: "So we're going onto open sea to look for this damn thing?"
Dasizai: "It's a God Class, Shintawa. It is imperative that we take care of this-"
Keyati: "Plus, more dumb bastards means more bodies to throw at the thing."
Dasizai: "By the will of Dragon, Keyati, relax. Though, you do make a point."
Kei-Kei popped up, an energetic look in his eyes. Determination and a desire to prove himself as better than other individuals trying to claim the oh so desired position of Heavenly Swordsman.
Kei-Kei: "Let's go! If I beat it, that has to prove I'm the best Heavenly Swordsman candidate!"
Dasizai smirked, whereas Shintawa chuckled and Keyati groaned. Dasizai went over to pat Kei-Kei on the shoulder and looked back at his phone.
Dasizai: "Well if that's the case, let's get goin' guys."
