As we made our way out, I paused to watch Reese in her classroom while Castiel spoke with a teacher about work arrangements for his upcoming business trip.
My heart warmed when she looked up and waved at me. I waved back, and unexpectedly caught the teacher's attention. The woman grinned and soon stepped outside, an envelope in hand.
"It's a pleasure to see you again, Ms. Elspeth. I'm Daisy Patterson," she said brightly.
"The pleasure is mine," I replied with a smile.
"Well, since you're here, I thought I should give this to you myself." She handed me the envelope, her grin widening.
I hope it's not another dreadful letter.
"I'm so sorry for the short notice, but we're organizing a family trip for the grade one wards in two weeks. Everything you need to know is in the letter," she explained.
