NARUTO POV:
Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura currently stood at a training ground near the monument for the fallen Konoha ninja.
They had been instructed by their Sensei to be there by 6 AM.
It was currently 11 AM.
"Is him being late gonna be a regular thing?" Naruto groaned as Sasuke and Sakura finished playing another match of shogi (chess but much more complicated).
"I'm so hungry" Sasuke said as all three of their stomachs grumbled together.
"Screw it! I aint sitting here hungry like this" Naruto said as he unsealed a box full of onigiri.
"I mean he advised us to not eat not order us" Sakura said as she started eating one.
"Honestly we ought to teach him to be a bit more punctual" Naruto said as he ate one of his own.
"Does that mean beating him up or pranking him or both?" Sasuke asked.
"Heya kids didn't I tell you to not eat?" Kakashi said as he appeared with a shunshin(body flicker)
"You're late!" Sakura and Naruto said at the same time while Sasuke just continued eating his onigiri.
"Yeah well you see a black cat crossed the road so I had to take the long way around" he said with an eye smile.
"Anyway" Kakashi said as he placed a clock on a rock "time to explain the test".
"You see these bells in my hand? All you have to do is get one before the clock strikes 12" he says, holding up two bells.
"Sensei there's only two bells" Sakura said.
"That's because only two of you will get go pass" Kakashi said with an eye smile.
"And do come at me with the intent to kill because otherwise there is no way you will pass he said as they all tensed.
"The test begins...NOW"
KAKASHI POV:
Kakashi immediately whipped out his orange book and started reading.
'They hide pretty good for just out of academy kids'
"Oi one-eye sensei"
'I just had to jinx it'
"Naruto you realize that Ninja usually HIDE right? That's why we're Ninja and not Samurai" he said with a monotone voice, barely looking up from his book.
"I know dattebayo' he said with a grin before vanishing in a cloud of smoke.
The ground under Kakashi rumbled as another Naruto appeared, trying to grab the bells on Kakashi's belt.
As Kakashi grabbed his hand and threw him at a tree he heard a voice behind him say "Fire style: Fireball Jutsu!"
'A genin shouldn't be able to do that!' He thought as he dodged and it went behind him.
"You missed" he said, not letting Sasuke see his surprise.
"Did I?" He asked rhetorically with a smirk.
'Wait on that side is...! He thought as he looked towards where the fireball had gone, straight towards Naruto.
He thought that Sasuke had tried to kill Naruto, but to his surprise Naruto's leg was covered in a black aura as he kicked the fireball, straight at Kakashi.
"Wha-?" He gasped as he quickly jumped out of the way.
Straight into a mud pit.
He was confused as his legs, then his torso started sinking into the ground.
He looked around and saw Sakura with the palms of her hand on the ground with a smirk.
He just stared as Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura stood in front of him, Naruto holding the bells.
Regaining his composure, he said "well now Naruto, who will you let pass with you".
Naruto just raised his eyebrows before tossing them into the air.
Sasuke jumped and cut them into precisely one thirds each using his Sharingan and gave 2 pieces to the other two.
"Now all three of us has most of a bell" he said with a grin.
Kakashi sighed and said "you pass" as Sakura undid the Jutsu and Naruto pulled him up.
"Ya know if you wanna put us against each other you'll need much better motivation, cuz we've been training together for almost 6 years dattebayo." Naruto said as they walked back to the rock with the clock, showing there were still 40 minutes remaining.
"Well, I'm impressed. Not even the legendary Sannin were at this level as fresh Genin" he said with an eye smile.
"Now I would like a report of all your skills and abilities so I can prepare a training program for you guys" he said with an eye smile.
NARUTO POV:
After Kakashi had left for a Jonin meeting the trio had gone to get some Ramen, Sasuke's treat because Naruto said so.
As they were walking back towards their training ground for some chakra control exercise he heard Kurama's voice in his head.
'Oi Naruto'
'Well about time you woke up. How much do you sleep dattebayo'
'If you want me to be awake you ought to do something interesting'
'Yeah yeah, Either way what do you need?'
'I just checked your body's state'
'That's not creepy at all'
'Oh, shut up. Either way your body's ready to be able to handle two tails of my chakra'
'Nice. I've got free time so might as well train to reach it' he said mentally to Kurama before telling his friends about the new development.
They both just shrugged and told him to go do that while Sakura went to the hospital to see if she could help with anything while Sasuke went to go forge swords.
Ever since he had begun forging Sasuke had this crazy idea of an attack: a rain of swords on his enemy and was working towards making enough swords for that.
Naruto was currently sitting in the lotus position in the middle of a lake with Yamato sensei observing him, ready to suppress Kurama's chakra if it overwhelmed Naruto and made him go berserk.
Inside Naruto's mindscape, Naruto stood before the gates which signified the levels of Kurama's chakra.
He began with the zero tailed state, which basically gave him an aura of Kurama's chakra.
Then the one tailed state, in which the chakra took the shape of a shroud with tipped ears like a fox's on Naruto's head made using the bubbly chakra and a tail made using that chakra.
And now, he began with the Two tailed transformation.
Immediately the water started rippling madly and he opened his now red eyes with a black slit in the middle to see that the shroud was now reaching a bit further from him and he had another tail (hence the name)
He felt unstoppable.
Not only did he have practically endless stamina and chakra now, his control was also peaked.
Where the 'wind style: Great breakthrough' would usually create enough force to maybe break three or four trees in a row, now it could easily destroy 20.
Even the anti-chakra was being created more in his body in this state, to more or less neutralize the negative effects Kurama's chakra might have.
He created a giant fist by concentrating the bubbly chakra and enforced it using the anti-chakra, turning it pitch black.
Another thing he had observed was that when he channeled chakra through any chakra linked to him, it wouldn't neutralize the effect.
He easily demolished the training dummies Yamato sensei kept creating using wood style and trained for about 11 hours straight.
