NARUTO POV:
Naruto was walking along with Sakura towards Ichiraku's Ramen after Kakashi Sensei had handed team-7 forms for the Chunin exams next weeks.
"You think we should go for it?" Sakura asked.
"What's to think?" Naruto snorted "Our team went up against a Jonin, someone who's basically a Chunin and a literal army"
"Well hasn't your ego swollen" she muttered before they saw a box which looked like a rock with holes in it walking behind them.
"Rocks don't have holes, or look like a box Konohamaru" Naruto said.
"As expected from the man I look up to" the box said before a bunch of green smoke emerged from the box.
Naruto and Sakura just waved it away from their faces while they heard 3 voices coughing.
"D-Damn It. Too much smoke" one of them said.
Then they went into a pose and introduced themself as the 'Konohamaru Corps'
"Hey boss, you promised you'd play Ninja with us today" Konohamaru said.
"Oh yeah I did..." Naruto said, scratching his cheek awkwardly.
"Why are you playing Ninja when you ARE a ninja?" Sakura asked with a small chuckle
"Hey it's better than that boring stuff from the academy" Naruto said, Sakura nodding in agreement.
"Hey Boss, is she your..." Konohamaru asked, holding up his Pinky finger suggestively.
Both the teens blushed and sputtered, immediately denying the comment while the Konohamaru Corps laughed.
"I'd get why not though, just look at her forehead, it's so big Konoha could fit inside it" he said mid laugh.
Sakura went completely silent.
Naruto quietly walked out of her way and said "I'd run if I were you, Konohamaru"
"Haha, why would I run Bo-AAAAAAAH" Konohamaru screamed as he was chased by Sakura, who was yelling " I'LL SHOW YOU A FOREHEAD YOU STUPID BRAT"
Naruto was snickering until he heard a cry of pain and a thud.
"Oi oi Sakura don't hurt him way too much Dattebayo" he said, turning around the corner to see... a serious Sakura standing in front of a trembling Konohamaru and scared Moegi+Udon.
"Move over girly, that brat deserves a beating." said what he just now realized was a guy under all that makeup in a catsuit.
"No catsuit man's going to tell me what to do" Sakura said with a vicious grin.
"What did you say" he growled as he reached for his back, where there was a bundle of sorts.
"Let's not get too hasty" Naruto said, grabbing his hand "Wouldn't wanna ruin that makeup now would we?"
The catsuit guy and a blonde-haired girl behind him both stiffened.
'He moved before I even realized he was there' she thought, her eyes widening.
"Well now buddy, I'm gonna leave your hand, you're gonna calm the hell down and then we all go our own way. Cool? Cool."
He let the hand go, before disappearing and appearing beside Sakura.
"Oh, and pro tip: Don't try to attack the grandson of the Hokage yeah? Might not turn out well for ya"
They both paled.
"Th-the grandson of-" he started.
"-The Hokage?" she finished, trembling.
"Yep!" Naruto said cheerfully "So unless you want me to tell him about this, why don't you two and your friend in the tree leave before my friend decides to fry him?"
They both looked at the tree in shock to see a red haired boy standing upside down on a branch while Sasuke stood horizontally on the trunk of the tree, his hands blazing.
The red-haired guy vanished in a swirl of sand and appeared beside the other two.
"Kankuro. Temari. You are both embarrassments to our village. Now come."
Y-yes Gaara" the boy said.
"See ya in the Chunin exams cat boy and friends" Naruto said with a 3-finger salute.
The red-haired boy, Gaara, stopped and turned around.
"You there, blonde boy. What is your name?" he asked.
"Naruto" Naruto said with a smirk " And if my friend's reaction is anything to go by, you must be the holder of Mr 1 eh?"
The sand trio paused.
"How did you know?" Temari questioned.
"Takes one to know one" Naruto replied. "Anyway, you guys better get going, we should too" he said, nodding at Sasuke, who disappeared and appeared next to his team in silence and walked off with them, leaving the sand trio in stunned silence and the Konohamaru corps in confusion.
