Hi guys first try at a novel here id appreciate if you stuck around and gave some feedback!

Let me give you some backstory. This is a world named Lorvia. In lorvia there are the drakons(dragons to lizardmen), the beast men(birds, wolves, cats, and the controversial lizards), the giants, the dwarves, the elves(wood,high,dark/fire,and sea), humans(of course), the orcs, and the commonly forgotten gnomes.

Our mc will be a half human-giant lad by the name of Rand. Rand is just an odd boy living with his mother until the ripe age of 9 where his house is broken into with his mother still in it bleeding out. In the moments before her death she tells him his real heritage and that he should seek out his father in the mountain. Needless to say he is more interested in finding his mothers killer but she persuades him otherwise.
