Joanna was the first to arrive at the office, but strangely, Mia did not show up today. Joanna did not bother to check on her, only welcoming her friends who arrived later at the office.
"Joan, we can finally breathe since Mia isn't here today," Vida sighed, excitement lacing her voice. Joanna laughed.
"I know, right? What have you been up to with your targets?" She casually asked.
Whenever Mia was around, none of them spoke much, whether about work or personal matters, acting mute most of the time. But with Mia being away, the atmosphere was much lighter.
"We are on it, but right now, I'm envying Jeremy," Juliet said honestly.
