Logan's unexpected act took Alex aback. It was not strange that they both wanted each other dead, but Alex expected Logan to learn his lesson after what transpired earlier.
"Last words, I don't have it in my dictionary," Alex shrugged, seemingly unfazed by the barrel of a gun pressed against his head.
Logan could not help the confusion clouding his mind. He wondered what Alex was up to, not begging Logan not to shoot him.
"Pull the trigger if you have the balls, but watch closely. I'm not the one in the wheelchair," Alex said.
The layer of confusion in Logan's mind doubled as he glared at the man in the wheelchair.
Was he dreaming? The moment he shut his eyes tightly to confirm it, all he felt was a force not strong enough to push him down, but when his eyes opened, Alex was not in the wheelchair.
