Small butterfly among flowers in rain,
marched one mountain by another mountain,
inquiring where's the breeze in that summer,
yet all mountains kept silent but river.
Pale butterfly above flowing water,
forded through lakes through streams through each river,
inquiring which path left fragrance of breeze,
yet water kept chanting alone at ease.
Light butterfly in air at pink twilight,
fluttered through depth of cloud through path of light,
inquiring how many hills left to march,
how many rivers must ford through till March.
Old butterfly in arms of sweet flower,
breathed in fragrance which smelled like that summer.
