Small snake-like stream streamed through golden farmland,
watering thirsty grain on long-dried land,
with milk-like snow water from high mountain,
through low valley to the small stream rolled fain.
Golden vast sea of field embraced village,
raising those folks who from dawn left cottage,
who farmed till almost twilight on farmlands,
who lived by farming with hard-working hands.
Brown peasants harvested in burnt sunlight,
streaming down sweat on farmland at twilight,
towards their kids who played water in stream,
who played with mud on farmland laid in beam.
Gray kids wiped sweat away adults foreheads,
then there echoed laughter above their heads.
