Gray nightingale sang songs beneath rainbow,
chanting on the wet branch of green willow,
with pleasure, purpose and pursue's arrow,
toward yellow flower under shadow.
Yellow flower fain bloomed with smiling face,
smiling for rain milked root under surface,
for rainbow's smile drew the gray sky nicer,
for nightingale chanted forest calmer.
The eye of nightingale's blind flower's eye,
admiring distant sight in greater sky,
through long night street with rosy neon light,
and calm forest with songs of frogs at night.
When nightingale returned to flower's side,
there sang the sweeter songs at eventide.
