"Why do I have to bring him lunch?"
Time quickly passed when Caroline together with Karoline left Ren alone in the workshop. They both had work to do as a principal and vice principal of the Atlas Academy.
Around 3 hours later when they took a break from work Karoline asked Caroline to go to check on Ren and gave her money for her to buy him lunch at the cafeteria.
"Why am I always frustrated when I have to deal with him? We only met yesterday and he has already pissed me off."
When she saw him in the station, he didn't appear to be someone special. He looked more like someone who was lost. However, her thoughts about him quickly changed.
He was shameless and someone who was ogling at her precious sister. She couldn't allow someone like him near her sister. She has to become her shield once again.
Someone like Ren wasn't the first person who has appeared in their lives. Because Karoline has taken all hormones from their mother and developed a voluptuous body, there was more attention on her than on Caroline.
In the past Caroline wasn't afraid for Karoline, she was a strong fighter. But because of a little incident that left a scar on her heart, Caroline swore that she will become her shield and has fulfilled her role till now.
Ren is just another man she has to distance from her sister.
"Hello, Ms. Vice-Principal."
"Hello. Doing club activities during the break?"
"Yes, we didn't finish our project, that's why we decided to do it till the new semester."
"Keep up the good work!"
"Thank you! You too."
It was not so surprising to meet students on the campus during their break. Lots of club activities still were operating for different reasons. Some clubs were finishing all their work, while others just didn't want to relax at dorms.
"Sigh… why is the workshop so far from the campus building?"
She passed the campus building and entered into the little forest that was behind the academy. Not long after she finally reached the little house.
Unlike the past 2 years when the house looked lonely, now smoke came out of the chimney and from the window shines orange light.
"Hey, Ren, I brought you-!?"
When she opened the doors, she was shocked to see Ren standing face to face with giant fire coming out of the forge. The fire clearly reached his body, but he stood motionless as if trying to see something.
"What are you doing!? That is dangerous!"
Out of fear she moved without thinking and grabbed him from behind to pull back. To her surprise she did it quite easily as Ren fell back in a chair, while still looking at fire.
"Hey! Do you not hear me?!"
"I hear."
"Then why are you burning yourself?!"
The clothes he wore, all front were burned from the heat revealing a well trained body.
Caroline couldn't help but gulp down as her eyes were drawn to his chest.
"I-Idiot! Put some clothes on!"
Out of embarrassment she looked away with her face all red. However, Ren didn't obey, instead he took the shirt off and threw it into the forge. Flames started to dance as the shirt slowly dismantled in fire.
"Caroline, does the academy perhaps have some rare ingredients in the Atlas treasury that you don't need?"
"W-Why are you asking me that?"
"Because you are the Vice-Principal."
If the Vice-Principal wouldn't know, then who, besides the Principal, would know?
"W-We have but I can't just give them to you."
"Why? I promise that I will make a profit and return back with interest."
"It's not that easy. For you to get them, you need to get approval from several people. Me, the Principal, Atlaburgh City Hall's Director and high ranking personnel from Headquarters."
"Is that so… Then where can I get materials?"
"You can get them from the Field Exploration Club. They usually bring everything they get from their journeys."
Ren turned silent for a moment. He has heard of that club, after all it is a club where the main character will join together with both default heroines.
The club wasn't that simple either. They only take members that can pass their test, because journeys can turn dangerous. Weak members are not needed there.
They usually go beyond the country of humans and go into fields where monsters roam. Because it is such a dangerous club, there also isn't just one teacher responsible, there are 3 and when they go on journeys one of them goes with the club.
Sometimes they join the groups that Headquarters sends and together does the mission. It's also an effective way for Headquarters to scout promising fighters.
"Hey."
"Hmm?"
Because Ren was deep in thoughts, he failed to notice how Caroline sometimes sneaked a peek at his bare upper body.
"Can you finally wear something?"
"Oh… Sorry."
However, he didn't have anything to wear, there was only a leather apron made for blacksmiths. With pure thoughts and heart, he wore it in consideration for Caroline.
"W-W-W-W-What are you wearing!? Idiot! Pervert!"
It gained the opposite reaction from her. Ren couldn't help but be dumbfounded as he saw Caroline run out of the smithy with face red as an apple.
"Ah! How will I find the club!? Wait! Caroline!"
He was left with no choice but to run after her.

"This is the Field Exploration club."
"So, I can come here and pick up materials whenever I want?"
"If the club's president allows you to do that, then sure. I can't do that. I only came here with you because at the moment you are still unfamiliar with how things are done here."
"Then… Thank you?"
"Hmph! I don't need your gratitude."
Ren could only weakly smile at her. He already pissed her off incredibly when ran after her to the campus. It already was strange that someone was chasing her, but Ren had a naked upper body covered by an apron.
Worst part was that they were seen by students who returned from their respective clubs. She already had a headache from upcoming rumors.
Luckily, their game of tag quickly ended, when a guard noticed them. They thought that Ren was some kind of pervert after Caroline, but after explaining the situation, he was given a guard shirt.
When they separated and Caroline led the way, the atmosphere around them was awkward. Even Ren couldn't help but be ashamed of what he had done.
'I did that while being sober, what kind of person I have become…'
He kept repeating those words again and again, till they reached the clubroom with a plate next to the doors saying "Field Exploration Club".
-Knock Knock
"Please come in."
Caroline knocked on the doors and when a voice of a woman came from the opposite side of the doors, did she open the doors.
When the doors opened and Ren could finally glance inside, an excited smile covered his half face. The room was perfectly like he remembered in the background of dialogue scenes.
On the left side were shelves with valuable items the club had found during their journeys, while on the right side was a giant screen showing a map of the country and land around it.
"What an honor it is to be visited by the Vice-Principal and a security guard. How can I help you?"
Hearing the same voice that was heard behind the doors, Ren curiously looked at the woman who sat at the end of the room behind a table filled with papers. When he took in the appearance of the woman, he couldn't help but to widen his eyes and gulp down.
He knew who was the club president and she was also a character that could be pulled from packs. However, he had underestimated how beautiful and hot she looked in real life.
She calmly placed both hands on the table and looked over to them, yet it looked so elegant. Her little smile was adorable and her black eyes shined with interest. Her unique hair that covered half of her head white while the other part black hair was tied into two small Chinese buns while remaining long hair elegantly fell down.
She is currently wearing her academy uniform, which effectively conceals her figure.
Polina Snowflake.
One of the most satisfying combat characters. Not only was her gift easy to use, but it also was very useful against a horde of monsters.
Ren enjoyed playing with her not only because of her combat, but also appearance. Unfortunately, her default skin didn't capture her beauty, but Ren was lucky and got one of her best skins.
Her skin's combat clothes were an oversized sleeved black dress with two slits on the sides for her to easily move around. While underneath the dress she wore a one piece white bikini that embraced her body tightly and on her slender, beautiful long legs she wore stockings with heels.
Ren had to gulp down again just from remembering how everything could be seen when she was running with all her might.
'Davis, what have you done with me…'
Dark memories started to appear in his mind, especially when he had hard times concentrating on the game.
To calm himself down, he yet again had to blame his friend for what he himself has become.
"Do you perhaps have some materials left from your recent exploration or did you already sell everything?"
Caroline ignored Polina's comment about Ren and went straight to the point. Ren also didn't notice her misunderstanding. He was busily fighting against the demons that kept reminding about Polina's character.
"No, I still haven't sold anything. You wanted to take some?"
"No, no. Not me, but he."
She pointed towards Ren, who currently looked at Polina with unfazed eyes. Seeing him like that, Caroline pinched his side to get at least some kind of reaction.
"Arg! Caroline, what the hell!?"
"It's my question! What are you doing?! I brought you here and you dare to space out?"
"Oh, right! Sorry about that."
"I don't need your apology! I'll have to leave you here. Polina will show you what you need. Oh, and Polina, everything he chose to take is on me."
Without waiting for a response, Caroline left the clubroom.
