The Apocalypse Four Headless War Horses
With the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse as their core, these headless war horses embody the destructive power of annihilating a world. They have transcended life itself, becoming a miracle rather than mere artifacts.
Hades, wielding his divine authority, bestowed upon them a unique semblance of life, resulting in the formation of these remarkable headless steeds. For Chubb, the Headless Horseman, these war horses are perfectly suited artifacts, amplifying his formidable presence.
Hades has never been one to hoard power or treasures. To him, it holds little value to keep such artifacts to himself. Instead, he believes in empowering his underworld warriors, allowing their divine power to flourish. This philosophy underpins his actions and choices.
After thoroughly scavenging the chaotic vortex, Hades surveyed the emptiness left behind. Anything deemed waste was consumed by the flames of the underworld, after all, remnants from the Age of Gods still hold a certain nutritional value.
Having resolved the matter, Hades prepared to leave the chaotic vortex. However, he paused, a contemplative look crossing his face.
With a whisper, "Koios," Hades summoned the energy of the chaotic starry sky. A figure gradually emerged from the void, solidifying into the form of one of the Twelve Titan Main Gods: Koios, the God of Black Thunder.
With short hair and clad in a black robe, he exuded the calm of a wise sage, his eyes glimmering with black lightning and profound wisdom. He studied Hades intently.
After a lengthy silence, Koios spoke. "Hades, our battle is about to begin."
Clearly, he had come to challenge Hades, a duel long anticipated.
Hades met Koios's gaze, unflinching. "If so, let's begin."
The hows and whys of Koios finding him mattered little; they were warriors set to clash. No one would allow the other to dishonor this battle.
Koios's eyes crackled with energy. In an instant, monstrous black thunder erupted toward Hades, a storm of chaotic power that could overpower even the gods.
Yet, Hades swiftly countered. He unleashed the chaotic vortex, consuming the onslaught of black lightning.
"Chaos vortex?" Koios frowned, contemplating. "So, you seek to wield the cosmic furnace and star hammer. If you and your brothers wish to challenge me, you'll need those artifacts, only the three one-eyed titan brothers sealed in Tartarus can provide such power."
"Indeed," Hades replied, his tone even.
He saw no reason to conceal his intentions from Koios, as he intended to eliminate him regardless.
Koios smirked, "Your confidence is admirable!"
With that, the air around them charged with ominous black lightning, filling the space with crackling energy that seemed to stretch across the horizon.
Suddenly, Hades was engulfed in the torrent of black thunder.
Yet, if such lightning could defeat him, he might as well find a piece of tofu and end himself.
As expected, strands of dark purple flames erupted from Hades, engulfing the black thunder in a blaze of underworld fire. In an instant, the energy that had threatened him was consumed, leaving only the figure of Hades standing firm amidst the inferno.
"Hahaha!" Koios chuckled lightly. "So, you have regained your authority, Hades. It seems your other selves have fallen, haven't they?"
Though Cronus wouldn't freely admit that his clones; Jupiter, Pluto, and Neptune, were all vanquished, Koios had gleaned the truth from this encounter. Hades had grown stronger, undoubtedly stepping into the level of a Titan Main God.
To rise to this position, Hades must have eliminated the threat of Cronus's Pluto clone, as that would be the only way to break free from the constraints of his previous limitations.
